Snypiuer Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 (edited) I know I don't visit much and contribute even less. Never the less, I have a request. Would it be possible to have an individual declared an Honorary Bard? Perhaps a thread where some one can be nominated and if enough of us agree, given the Honorary title? I ask, because I would very much like to have Johnny Cash given this title. The Man in Black is the only person to be in: The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Song Writers Hall of Fame and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. How can we be any less then to memorialize him as an Honorary Bard? Just asking, thanks for listening. Meanwhile, I'll be feeling like I'm.......stuck in Folsam Prison, and time keeps dragging on. ******************************************************************** Edited September 13, 2003 by Snypiuer

Mira Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 You've got my vote ... (wait, I don't get a vote) ... well than you've got my suport. Hey, and what about Warren Zevon, he died on Sunday September 7, 2003. CNN.com
Snypiuer Posted September 14, 2003 Author Report Posted September 14, 2003 Man, I am out of touch. I new Warren was terminal, I just didn't know he had passed. The Werewolf of London definately deserves an Honorary. But, I still want Johnny to be the first. If it goes through at all. Thanks for the replies.
The Portrait of Zool Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Yah, sucks, dunnit. Funny thing, I live about 30 miles from Folsom prison. I've often driven past the gothic guard tower. You get a big thumbs up from me for the Big J - if I had a vote. Good to see you, BTW.
Savannah Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I don't have a vote either-and I live about 30 minutes from the late and great John Cash. Love the man and love his music. He is a shining example of turning your life around and rolling down the right track.
