After the death of Victoria Rowan, it had only been natural for Billi Zane to have become the Ventrue candidate for becoming the prince of Goldendown. He had just had a lengthy talk with the Toreador primogen of the city and it seemed that he had a reasonable chance of securing his vote. The Toreador had been unable to find a suitable candidate after the death of their prince. As Billi walked home, he was accosted by two young female students. He was just about to prepare himself for food, when one of them spoke: "Let's eat him! I'm still hungry!" Only then was the blood on their clothes and around their mouthes apparent. "Who's your sire?" Billi asked. "We don't know," came the reply. "You're vampire also?" they asked. "Yes," Billi replied in disgust. Sireless vampires were a sure sign of the chaos left by the death of the prince. The two girls had been sired by a Brujah by their looks. Those lowly Brujah, unable to contain themselves... Billi pushed through them and continued walking on without another word. Three blocks later he found an opera singer and had the most tasty meal he had had in several months. It was a fitting last meal. As Billi was sinking in his fangs, another vampire across the city was delivering a note to an anonymous letterbox. Billi Zane Ventrue 3 Northern Square in the tower suite

Saving outgoing PMs is on by default now. Vene's problem solved. Work on the tan and black skins continues.

Phase has ended. Mardrax has requested to write his own lynching, which I'm sure will be coming soon. -
Patham grinned as he moved throught the halls and corridors of the Pen keep. It was Gwaihir's birthday and for once he was not late with his birthday wishes. OOC: Have a very happy birthday Gwai!

Voting has obviously been extended. Phase will end in 14-16 hours from now. -
I really liked this poem Appy. Liked the rhymes quite a bit. One place where the quite rhytmic reading faltered was the beginning of the third line of the first stanza, not sure I'd be able to explain why though.

Two new bugs: -default saving of PMs is now set to off -some member names are truncated when viewing a topic.

Patrick smiled as the promotions of the others were announced and blushed when it was his name that was called. "It is an honour," he managed to reply. He stayed silent while the rest of the promotees were promoted, then finally added a "Congratulations everyone!" before leaving again, to tinker on the different skins the Mighty Pen Keep could present. For the world wasn't always blue.
-
Happy birthday both of you! *gives out hugs*
-
The tan skin isn't visible to anyone except those with admin rights. Basically that means that we're still working on it.
-
While weirdness with the skins is sorted out, everyone has been set to the 2.2.0 default skin.
-
The upgrade to version 2.2.0 is complete. However there may still be a few glitches that need sorting out. If you notice anything that is weird or wrong, let me or Katz know about it, or post in this thread.

Father Jones shot another glance at the note deposited in their letterbox a few hours earlier. Sylas, Marker's Avenue. Down the sewer grating in front of the Sweet Tooth bakery, "One of those awful Nosferatu?" one of his companions asked. "Those are the ones, who live in the sewers. Tell the mercenaries to meet us in front of the bakery," he commanded his follower. "Oh and tell them to bring gasmasks. You never know what you'll find in the sewers." The yellow sun barely managed to peak through the thick grey clouds and a fine mist had settled on the town since early morning. Not many people saw the priest, two civilian clothed men, a woman and a dozen fully armed mercenaries stop in front of the bakery. And even those who saw did not attribute much importance to it. Natalia almost immediately noticed the breach in their system at the Marker's Avenue bakery sewer grating, close to where Sylas was. She called out to another of her companions. "It's probably just some repairmen, but check it out. Best be sure." By the time the young Nosferatu got there, all that was left of Silas was a pile of ashes. The two bodies and numerous bullet marks in the wall where evidence to the fact that he had not gone down without a fight.

Absolutely stunning writing. One can really imagine themselves in the place of the writer of the epistle. As for a possible title. Might be too cliché and too simple, but what about "An epistle to you"?

Tracy West was an accountant at the newest hotshot lawyer in town. He was young, successful and she loved him. He loved her back and employed her. It was 4 am and she was just returning home from a hot night out with him. Being tired, she took a short cut through the park, estimating she could gain three minutes of sleep with it. For Simon Hopkins, hungrily waiting in the shadow of the bushes next to the small duck pond, she was the perfect victim. He snuck behind her and with a sudden movement snapped her neck back and dug his fangs in. He didn't even hear the soft footsteps behind him as he feeded in the shadow of a century old oak tree. He didn't see the ancient katana rise and fall, biting deep into his back. While Simon struggled against his attackers and felt his strength wane, he realised that he would never be prince of Goldendown. He had probably been too young anyway. OOC: Savage Dragon - Simon Hopkins has been lynched. Roles aren't revealed this game.

Come on people, you do know it's voting phase, right? I'm extending the phase an extra 24 hours to allow the votes to come pouring in. -
A question, which popped up during a discussion between Tanny and me. If there is one wolf remaining in a game and that wolf targets the baner, while the baner banes the wolf, what should a mod do? If the baner banes himself and the wolf targets him? Oh, and put me down for XXXIX, with a subject not decided yet.
