Application from epinephrine
cryptomancer replied to epinephrine's topic in Recruitment Applications Archive
A large black raven (with what looks suspiciously like treacle in his feathers) lands on the back of the chair. Sitting still looking at Epinephrine, and glancing at the application on the table, the raven seems to grin. "Best part of the application process is the cobwebs, just wait, the spiders in here are worse than Australian ones." -
Cryptomancer spins to the edge of the dancefloor, stops with a flourish and a timed pose, and steps into the crowd. Moving smoothly through the groups of people he finds a drink, cool refreshing, and loaded with caffeine. Spotting Mynx on her quest for alcohol, he moves to meet Tanny and Celes. Stepping softly to join them, he grins, "Good evening Ladies, Wonderful party isnt it?"
-
The raven jumps, wings spreading as a well aimed bucket of treacle flies toward him. In the second it takes for the treacle to reach his position, he is in full flight, the flap of his wings punctuating the atmosphere in the room. Moments later the bucket clatters to the floor, and a very treacle covered bird emerges from its depths. Slowly the raven grows, becoming the hooded form of Cryptomancer, treacle dripping from his face and body, his cape and hood soaked in the sticky fluid. Suddenly with all the speed of his art, a symbol glows in the air, and as it fades, Mynx finds herself in the full body embrace of his treacle covered robes as Cryptomancer stands holding the feline in a tight hug. *grins* Neon treacle! The slow brother of greased lightening.

Mickey 'the skin' van Rensberg. Learned the art of skinning as a child growing up on a farm in the Lowfelt in Transvaal, South Africa. A local boy disappeared after beating Mickey's sister. Mickey sent the boy's family a new set of hand luggage, nice leather finish, the largest bag contained the youth's head and extremities. It is said that his knife can make anyone talk, and if you talk too quick you die slow, cause Mickey dont like his fun being spoiled. His rise to the top was due to the unusual amout of information he obtained from 'talking' to the right people Torture and blackmail are his specialties.

Adorable fever burns your brain, Numb the system, kill the pain, My soul confused taking strain, Upon the night that taste again, Copper thin upon the rain, That beats down the stormy drain, Inspired, quickened, silken train, That lifeless worlds count as gain. …… 'I just want to be inspired!’ Desire upon the endless spark That in my listless soul takes hold. More I see the more I fate my gift to you, My beauty, my muse, my all, I see you and the words fall Like soft rain upon the page, Rinsing the pain, calming the rage. You are my life, my all, my triumph, The one my soul will forever call. …… I never cared for swimming anyway, To float upon the skin of calm liquid Seems against the nature of my soul. I hold to the same, for in my heart I feel the freedom you seek Upon the waters crest, But I feel the same Upon the spans of flame That from my soul do swing As in the air I take to wing …… I believe in people dying For it is the path of mortal life. In the air of love, the pain of strife And the truth, contrasts the lying, For how can you live? Until you can admit you’re dying? …… Hanging on the promises of yesterday Love, my fated path, split to the south, As I try to walk north. Feeling the price of pain I pay Love, my fated choice, complete embrace, My heartbeat raced. Holding to the future’s way Love, my fated dream, you, my all, Forever for you I fall. Line: 'Nonsensically subtle silliness'

A can before bed and I sleep like the dead. But this is due to years and years of accepting that I have a 'strong affinity' for caffeine. Starbucks know to put at least 6 shots in my drink now. *grins*

A large black raven lands on the top of musicevangelist 's head, and looks down at him, in the quizzical nature of birds everywhere, (this made funnier by the fact that musicevangelist sees him upsidedown.) *Grins at musicevangelist* I'll have a Heavy metal salad, easy on the synth, tall glass of glam rock, and a side order of r&b. Hi, welcome to the pen.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH COKE??????? *Grins* A can a day keeps the headache away. I have tried to quit, for training purposes, and after two weeks I got given a sixpack and told to drink it. Apparently I was very grumpy. *giggles insanely* caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine caffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeinecaffeine...... *pauses* Sorry, I go find my second can for the day, (yes it is a good breakfast, No I didnt eat anything) *grins*

Who chooses this life we lead? The path of love we tread? The secret passages of time, Till with our death we bed? Is guidance upon the thread of fate? Or upon the faithless life? Is love a gift of eternity? Or the trick of mortal minds? If in the solitude of night Upon the heartless dawn, I can stand in awe of you? To you I give my soul. For life is upon us to choose. Its path is ours to walk. It is your love that made it so. And you with us do walk. 'In love I hold my heart to you'

Be gone with this, I'm going home, The storm cloud broke upon the sound, Of clamouring thunder and the pierce Of rain upon the ground. Be gone my mist, grow fat and fall, For in the emptiness, of weathered sky, Who am I to your growth deny? And in the grip of sky detain, The brilliance of fresh new rain? Tantalized by defeated fall, The ground catches and drinks all, And in the thirst of daylight quenched Grasps the rays of daylight drenched, And in the falling orbs displays Her thanks to life, to love, always. How crisp the morning frost upon the burdened blade of grass, Crystalizes the wonder of light, surrounded by increasingly Fine display of treasured beauty, brightening day. My love caressed the ground under her sole. Bared to cold embrace of winters crown, that on the grass In losing battle the sun holds at bay, as in the dawn Of newest day the love of all caresses my worries and Dreams away. Life renewed, love survives, and in all Her beauty my mind with truth and love inspires. "Were ever my heart lays its beating breath"

Cryptomancer moves gracfully to the table that Mynx is dancing on. Watching intently he grins a mischievious grin, and in a single fluid jump lands on the table beside the young feline. As a simple continuation of the move he takes her paw, twirls her, dips her and kisses her cheek. "Off the table sweetness, there is a floor for dancing!" With that and a second twirl, ending in the gracful sweeping of Mynx into his arms, Cryptomancer jumps down, sets the young Feline on her paws, and sends her twirling across the dance floor.

The only good thing I have to say about mountain dew is that it contains a good amout of caffeine, (In NZ that is) I tried it in Canada when I was over there and the taste is totally different, No caffeine!! However the supposed '3 times the caffeine of coke' wont make me buy it unless I cant get any of the other drinks that contain caffeine: V, E2 energy, redbull, redeye, redeye gold, bullseye (must drink within a minute of opening for full effect) lift plus, flame, and of cause.... COKE. NZ still only has classic coke, *grins* Although the new stuff is nice, (sweet!!) and we now get vanilla, diet with vanilla, diet with lime, and diet with lemon. Reese pieces, I love those, just cant get them regularly here. As for M&Ms, standard, mini, peanut, and crunch, are all we can get here. I want Peanut butter ones! I tried them once, yummy. But the two best if you like small bits of candy, Skittles, and Jelly tots (the ones done by Roundtrees, I only ever seen them in SouthAfrica) Those have to be two of the best in my book. KitKat has just got mint flavour here, mmmm , very nice.

epinephrine, that is familiar, Adrenalin? or similar? *grins* Nevermind. I like the poem, good flow, and the thing I look for in most of the stuff I read, Emotive conection. Thanks for sharing. *Grins* And as for the point of the game....... I took your request as my first line.... and..... Perhaps it sounds a bit cheesy but I wouldn't mind gentle feedback. It could make me uneasy but wouldn't give me a heart attack. Asking made me queazy but I can handle a bit of flak. Just please dont tease me as it could make me crack. Edit: My first line for others..... is.... *gets five year old son to play the set of drums we gave him for his birthday* Constelations of citrius glitter upon the trees,

I would try them. I enjoy heart, and kidney, liver I am not crazy about, tongue is interesting. All meat really, *grins*

Cryptomancer traces a rune in the air in front of him, and as a portal appears he places the weapons he has in to its shimering vortex. tracing a similar rune the air ripples and closes before him, leaving a faint glow to disapate into the air. Looking at Mynx as she disappeares into the crowd, he grins, the runes of his tattoo glow brightly, and start spinning in a circuit around the point of his shoulder. Moments later there is a whirl of movement on the dancefloor, as a topless bald man tattooed in glowing symbols of his art appears in a full head spin, ending in a classic 80's breakdance windmill. as the music continues he adapts, the rhythm of his movement blending into the funky beats of DJ YanYanGanaffi.

*grins* The finding of one that fits all aspects of your life, true and total. Thanks for the rhyme.

After a good African upbringing, I have eaten a few types of game. Kudu, cape buffalo, springbok, impala, duiker, and ostritch. I love venison, red meat in general, and most other types of meat too. Biltong, *dried meat* like beef jerky, is a favorite, (and yes all of the amimals listed have been eaten in this manner too) Squid, and baby octopus are yummy too. As is duck. I would most likely try anything once, if it is meat, hey, *grins* Carnivor!

*Stands and applauds the wonderful Gryphon* Thank you my friend, thank you. This I have been telling her since we started sharing our work with each other, and having read a lot of what she has written I am a firm believer in her talent as a writer of not just stories but poetry as well. Like me, Mynx has a lot of flare and imagination, and I hope one day she does see this. Her gift is more crafted than mine, she thinks about the structure and wording a lot more than I do, and although Mynx says that she cannot write poetry, the works I have been allowed to read prove that not only can she write it but with a bit of guidance in the finer points of structure she will become even better. (the same thing I have discovered from my time here, *grins at Alaeha*) I recomended that Mynx tries the excercises in the Caberet Room. Here *grins at all that recomended I try them* I too am my own worst critic, I spent most of my life not allowing any to read my work. A few close friends did, but never all of it, never more than a poem or two if they were about while I wrote, *grins at Gryphon, "remember the 'blue genie'?"* It was my Closest friend that gave me the confidence to let others read my work. It was her response to reading my scribblings that opened my thoughts to the possibility of not just showing others, but looking at possible publication. (She thought that they were that good.) It is this same friend that still to this day keeps insisting that I do publish, and that I keep writting. Being critical of your work helps you to refine it, but being too critical will destroy your love of a great gift. *Grins at Mynx* You got the gift girl, write. The greatest power in any gift of talent is found in sharing it.
