The intercom crackled and screeched, causing all students of Sunnyvale Hills High School to abandon whatever facade of listening to the teacher they were holding up and turn their attention to the speakers situated in the top corner of every classroom. "Hey hey guys!" the student DJ, Johnny Johnson, drawled "it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for! The announcement of the nominees for the titles of King and Queen for this year's Prom!" A cheer erupted from the classes, even from the lower 'classes' (hey, any excuse to miss a class in Trig). "And so here they are folks, the nominees are as follows: Ricky Earl Bobby Jones Ton Johannes Vincent Oxford Duke Harford Pete Reds M. B. Brown Jennifer Marrington Ashlee McDowell Dee McGuinnes Mer Sanford Tiffany Woods Susan Lincoln Erica Swan." Another cheer errupted, Johnny let it die down before continuing. "Well done to all of you lords 'n' ladies for the honoured nominations, and the best of luck to ya! Better hope that whichever of you guys wins, you wind up standing next to someone on the podium that ya like. That's all from me for now, back to work people! See you all at the Prom next week! This is Johnny Johnson signing off." All around the school, teachers looked at the clock and, seeing they only had ten minutes before class end, resigned themselves to the fact that they would get nothing more from the students, leaving them instead to their gossip. Edit - Didn't make it clear enough that the Prom is a few nights off...Sorry guys!

Mynx wanders in, looking somewhat bedraggled, annoyed, and not all together there. She also appears to be sneezing quite a bit... Of all the dumb *sneeze* f - ing *sneeze!* luck! *SNEEZE!* Blech Well guys...I know this is a few hours early...but I didn't plan on getting sick. Very sick. With a lot due in this week. So...The game is proceeding...because this just looks too damn good to cancel... But please bear with me. I intend to run everything roughly on time but keeping regards to hausaufgabe (homework) und studiere (study) for meine Deutche Test (for my potentially mispelt German test)...Just be patient. Having said that... Sign up is now officially closed. In roughly 48 hours from now...the game will begin and run for a further 48 hours before the first death. I think that's about all... I will PM the Special roles during the first unofficial day phase. If you don't hear from me...you know the drill... Skidding into the room, Mynx hits a poor unsuspecting Gryphon with a full blown flying tacklehug, with enough velocity to knock the larger predator to the ground where he proceeds to be snuggled by Mynx and hundreds of her kitten minions. "Happy Birthday Baby! Hope you like your gift" In between snuggle attacks, Mynx finds time to pull from one of the many pockets in her robe a large silver amulet, designed to fit around her partner's neck, with a blue gemstone set into the middle of it. In the middle of the gem sits a lock of the feline's hair. Smiling, Mynx places it around Gryphon's neck whilst he still struggles to escape the kitten attacks and kisses him gently on the cheek. [OOC: Ah, the wonders of an endless supply of minions... Have a good day my love!]

One more thing - Whilst there are no PM alliances, that doesn't mean you can't try and make bargins in game. Remember, boys and girls, you are Jocks and Cheerleaders, feel free to lie, cheat, backstab, steal, flirt, play, and generally have fun. *evil grin*

With a giggle and a bounce, CheerMynx comes bounding into the room, waving her pompoms and acting like a right little cheerleader. After hitting everyone in the room with a tacklehug, she finally calms down enough to leap up on a table and clear her throat theatrically Are you guys all, like, totally ready? It's Werewolf XIX and the theme is PROM NIGHT. So here is the story... She takes a more serious tone Sunnyvale Hills High School is preparing for the biggest night in any senior's life: the Prom. Problem is, the contestants who are in the running for the titles of Prom King and Queen are not very friendly in the way with which they play the game of politics. The contestants will all be nominees for the title. The wolves are the more...competitive...nominees who take their game a little too far, eliminating the competition through means of severe injury or even death. The Seer has a brother/friend who works for the School's security system and thus has access to the security tapes. The Baner is a tattletale - Basically if a wolf tries to attack someone under the protection, they will be stopped by the presence of a teacher or other such person due to the Baner's ratting. A couple more rules... No PM alliances Because all of you are nominees you can play one of two types of stereotypes: Cheerleader or Jock. That means no Goths, no Nerds, etc. (It's harsh, yes, but this IS the Prom!) And finally, whilst there will be two wolves, that does not mean they will be one female and one male - so no discriminary votes on "Just cos s/he is the last fe/male" If both are female, the male roles will be taken out as the CheerWolves try to manipulate who they will be up on the podium with, vise versa for the guys... And hey, if the wolves win, and they're the same gender, they can duke it out for the title I think that covers it all. Sign up is for one week... All going to plan this Game starts next Tuesday (for me, I think that's Monday for the rest of you). Day phase = 48 hours Night phase = 24 hours Any questions, you know where to find me. Thanks for all the support so far! Yay, I actually have volunteers besides the ones I know in person and can thus torture for their acceptance... If it helps, or not, I'm intending the write the majority of my Quest myself. I guess partly it's just because the idea I got is more of a story to tell than anything. However, there will be one particular section where, if all of you vict-uh...volunteers want to, you can write your personal accounts of what you all go through... Sign up is still open...

Well, I might be insane, but I am finally getting around to doing my Quill Quest... The basics of the storyline is that a spell is cast on the Pen, changing everyone within and also meddling with their memory. Short version? No one remembers me, no one likes a talking tiger with weapons, my QQ involves me telling stories and poems and whatnot to remind you all of me and break the spell. So I'm asking now for volunteers - Preferably Initiates and higher - for me to do my writing on. I don't know how soon I can start this...I DO have work coming up...but I figure it pays to start planning, right? So please, anyone interested, post here, or drop me a PM if you have questions.

I've always liked the name 'Madness'...but I guess that's not the kind of name you're looking for... Personally, I prefer looking at name meanings... For example, Amy means 'Beloved' Not sure if that helps at all...

Just something I heard once...

See, I'm not that familiar with Cyril's work - just haven't had time to read much of it I'm afriad... But to me, that poem reminds me of Cryptomancer. I dunno...maybe it's simpy due to my insane jealousy of the bird's talent, or the fact that in RL it's taken me too long to convince him of it... *shrugs* Beautiful poem, Sal. Personally, I believe that puncuation in poetry is entirely up to the author. There are some people out there, usually teachers, who have very set opinions on how one writes poetry but I find that if I try to conform to that al that comes out of my mind is utter crap. Write however you wish and put punctuation where you want it. More often than not, you will find that by changing the punctuation, you can change the entire meaning of a piece... Of course this is just all my opinion...
