Time passed slowly that evening, no one wanting to talk much for fear of incrimination. Eventually - slowly - the group began to drift off to their rooms to try and get some sleep. Very few did that night, some not even staying in their rooms... Tina lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling, her mind struggling to cope with the events of that day. Bad enough that Seth had been killed, but Tina felt a huge wave of guilt over the fact that she had so suspected Vinka...and that suspicion now seemed unfounded. She knew what would happen now. Everyone would suspect and accuse one another until they would most probably kill each other off, leaving whoever was the real killers to laugh at their folly. Tina wasn't sure she could stand it. Maybe...she should do something then...remove herself from the equation... Tina got up from her bed and went to the bathroom, removing a razor blade from the cupboard and returning to her bed. She stared at her wrists for a moment before gritting her teeth and making two short cuts intersecting the vein on both wrists. Tina was too busy watching the blood to notice the door being opened. "You cut it the wrong way," someone spoke. Tina raised her head and blinked at the two faces she recognised. "And not deep enough either," the other spoke up. Tina blinked again but didn't say anything, already feeling woozy from the blood loss but not woozy enough. "Of course," the first spoke again, "if you wanted we could...finish the job for you?" "You certainly wouldn't be suspected" "And it would solve so much of your troubles..." Tina listened to their offer, thinking of how easy it would be to let them finish what she couldn't. With a soft sight Tina looked up into the familiar faces and nodded, closing her eyes as they grinned and came closer, taking the razor off her... The next morning, no one could ignore the stain of blood on the ceiling of the living room. When they traced it up to Tina's room, they found her lying on the bed, wrists hanging over the edge with dried blood on her fingers, and her throat slit form ear to ear like some sort of demonic smile. The calm expression on her face was the most disturbing. Written above her on the wall in her own blood: She asked us to do it OOC: Sweetcherrie/Tina was an innocent (if suicidal) Villager. Day phase for the next 48 hours.

The animosity and suspiscion grew amongst the inhabitants of the lodge, until finally there were enough to convince the remainers otherwise. Vinka looked up from where she had been sitting in the living room to find herself surrounded by a silent mob. Only Dana remained where she was on the couch, a strange catatonia washing over her. "What..." Vinka began, already dreading what they would say. One - in the middle of the group and hard to see - began to speak. "We think you need to...take a break from the group Vinka." She stared at them in disbelief, knowing it would come but not wanting it to believe it. "You are going to throw me out?" she asked nervously. "No," someone said. "There's a storeroom in the kitchen with a padlock. We just want to be sure..." "No!" Vinka shouted and got up from her seat, causing an immediate reaction in the group. Before she could move she was grabbed on both sides and being forceably dragged to the kitchen. "No! It's not me! I can help you! I -" Vinka's cries were cut off as she was shoved into the storage room. As soon as the door was shut she could be heard pounding on it. "You made a mistake! I'm innocent!" Her cries faded as the others left the kitchen, already beginning to worry about their decision. Dana startled them by speaking up. "Even if she did do it, the letter said there was two..." she paused, staring at nothing as silent tears continued to fall. "And I don't think she did it." OOC: Vinka/Vahktang was your Seer. Night phase now. Specials, PM me.

Stomping the snow off her boots, Dana entered the lodge with a windswept but happy expression on her face. She loved the first run of the season! Seeing that she was the first one back, Dana went upstairs to change her clothes before returning to wait for the rest of the group. Half an hour later, everyone had arrived and was taking advantage of the fire's heat, talking in animated tones about the various runs they had acomplished. Dana watched them all with a smile but couldn't fight a slight tinge of worry - Seth wasn't back yet. She'd asked the rest but no one had seen him since that morning. Dana tried to kid herself that she was being silly, but still couldn't help feeling nervous. A clunk outside - the familiar sound of a snowboard hitting the lodge's deck - brought a wave of relief to Dana's face as she excused herself and went outside to see her boyfriend. Everyone within the lodge jumped at the shrill scream of terror that followed shortly after. Running outside, the instructors found Dana kneeling in the snow, shaking as she held something in her hand. Next to her was Seth's snowboard, his boots attached. And his feet within the boots. The rest, it seemed, had been sawn off below the knee. Before anyone could truly react beyond shock, Dana was on her feet and shrieking at them. "Who did this? Which one of you did this!" All at once a babble of voices broke out. "Someone get the radio" "What's that in her hand?" "Oh my god!" "Who in the hell -" "Is that a note?" "The radio's been smashed!" All hell broke loose, until finally some level of calm was able to be restored and Dana was ushered inside, sobbing hopelessly as she struggled weakly. It wasn't until Dana had been forced to sit down that the note in her hand - stained with her boyfriend's blood - was pried from her fingers and placed on the table for all to read: Your little friend Seth climbed to the top To enjoy his way back down Sadly, he got lost upon his way Till only his feet were found You know we’re alone on this mountain And now you’ve no way to leave We’ve already killed off one of you But you shall have no time to grieve We’re going to have some fun with you now We’re going to kill the rest Unless you can find us two from the twelve It will be only us that is left OOC: And so it begins. Day Phase ends in 48 hours.

Dana rested her back against the fireplace as she waited for the last to return to the living room. Once she was sure everyone had settled enough, she cleared her throat. "Welcome to Vannacutt Point! Now for those of you who have returned, and also those of you who're new here, you already know the basic drill - This mountain opens up in a weeks time and we have until then to ski and board every marked and unmarked trail to make sure nothing has changed over the summer season." Dana paused for a few cheers before pressing on. "Tomorrow morning I want you all to start from the top of the mountain and pick a trail - if you're new, tag along with someone else. We had some crew come and clear the lifts before you arrived so you won't have to walk up the mountain. I want us all to meet back here at 12 noon tomorrow so's I can get a basic rundown of how things are looking. We'll move on from there." Yet more cheering. "Just one last thing. We are essentially alone on this mountain. Our only form of communciation is through a shortwave radio that was installed at the dawn of time and until they clear the roads next week we are stuck here unless we call for a helecopter. That means I want you all to be careful and responsible about what you do. The last thing we need is a dead instructor. Other than that, rest up. The fun starts tomorrow." OOC: Delaying the first day phase a further 24 hours. Now is your chance to play on the mountain
-
All is fine. Only thing I'd suggest is that some of you are leaping up the mountain when technically you're not allowed until you've been checked and briefed by Dana - Which will happen in about 24 hours from now give or take. So yeah - restrain yourselves people! I know it's a shiny mountain but it's not going anywhere...
-
Apologies - I forgot to meantion how you would arrive at the lodge. Until the road is cleared the only means of getting to the lodge is via helecopter. There is a landing pad walking distance from the lodge and your characters will be dropped off throughout the day and evening by a series of copters that are run by Vannacutt Point's base operations. I think that clears it up...

Laughing Lynxes leap ludicrously large levels leaving lonley lionesses last

Yes - She has the keys to open up the lodge and is unofficially in charge. You'll either know her from past seasons or from being told who she is when you got the job.

Dana yawned and reclined on the spacious couch in front of the fire, her attention so absorbed in the book she was reading that she didn't hear the door open, nor the footsteps enter the room. It wasn't until a shadow cast over her book that Dana raised her head and let out a squeal of recognition. "Seth!" Dana bounded out of the chair and into the arms of her boyfriend. "What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't get tickets in time?" "Aw, my dad cut a deal with the travel agent," Seth grinned down at Dana before kissing her on the nose. "Besides babe, you know I never pass up a chance to be here - teaching or otherwise!" Dana smiled and buried her face in Seth's neck, before the familier clattering of luggage being dropped in the doorway announced another arrival to the lodge of Vannacutt Point. Reluctantly pulling away from each other, the pair turned to the door to see who else had arrived. OOC: 's checking in time folks! Have some fun, get to know each other, you know the drill.

Well the time has come for another Werewolf game. And this one is based on a failed story attempt of mine by the same title. (Lets hope this one is a tad more successful). The storyline is simple. Vannacutt Point is an exclusive mountain resort in Canada that boasts some of the worlds best skiing/boarding for spoiled rich young kids. It only has access by one dangerous road and this road will not be cleared of snow until litterally the day before they open for the season. One or two weeks before this happens, the seasons snow instructors are dropped off on the mountain by a helecopter to give them the time to check the paths for any changes since the last season, and get used to the mountain if they are new. One of the reasons this resort is so popular is the fact that the instructors are close in age to their common revenue (ie early to mid twenties). You will be these instructors. The only means of contact on this mountain is a shortwave radio and you won't be seeing the helecopter for a week. The wolves are simply insane. Seer will have witnessed either a kill or the wolves plotting and Baner will just be someone trying/succeeding to be a hero. No PM Alliances - if you want to co-write that's fine but let me know. Standard 48hrs day phase 24hrs night. Signup will be for about a week. Final request - don't feel the need to make every character the 'newby'. We need some villagers who know the mountain.

Mynx picked up her robe and looked it over, assessing the rips and burns it had achieved in such a short amount of time. With a muttered word she shook the fabric out, its form flickering into a smoky shadow before it solidified once more, all damage repaired. Wrapping it once more around her shoulders, Mynx latched it at her throat as she joined Gryphon with a tired smile and entered the room with the others. Casting a brief glance at the room of artifacts, Mynx's attention was immediately drawn to the page that had caught Sweetcherrie and Patham's eye. She read it silently, her ears slowly flattening in annoyance as the full ramifications of the realm made itself known. "It was all in our heads," she murmured, before turning her eyes to her paws. The feline watched bitterly as the darkness faded from her pelt, leaving behind only her stripes as even the soft mutterings in her mind disappeared. Mynx sighed and closed her eyes, her fist clenching in anger. Gryphon walked up quietly to his mate and watched her silently for a moment. "Kitten?" he ventured. "It's fine. Everything's over." Mynx sighed and shook her head. "I thought she was gone..." Gryphon frowned in confusion. "Who?" Mynx only shook her head. "But it was all in your head kitten. Only memory." "That's the thing. I thought she was forgotten." With a sigh, Mynx pulled the robe's hood over her face and stepped back from the table to investigate the darker corners of the room.
