One dreads to think. I have this horrid feeling that he would make it, for the simple fact that my dress is most likely silk and you do not dump water on silk. *sits back to see what will happen*

*grins widely* Welcome Phoenix! Always good to have another kiwi girl on the Pen. *huggles the firebird enthusiastically, ruffling a few more of her feathers in the process* And for the record...the cute and innocent kittens might need to burn...but they are also the most fireproof

Heh...Sorry Sweet but...you ruined my dress! I figure there must be a half dozen elves who are familiar with Jagkatha's short fuse so any of you other elves feel free to be one of those restraining me.
-
Jagkatha looked at the food now sitting in her lap with a kind of stunned shock. Who in their right mind would do such an idiotic thing, especially one that included her in the mix?! Jagkatha tore her eyes away from her ruined dress to see the culprit. Her eyes narrowed in anger. "Why you little snot-nosed..." Jagkatha let out a growl and leapt for Stoomp, struggling with the small crowd that restrained her as she hurled expletives at the now cowering Dwarf.
-
Jagkatha rested easily in her seat as she enjoyed the feast, her eyes roaming over the crowd of both new and familiar faces as she ate and enjoyed the atmosphere, for once not bothered by the fact that she was not the direct centre of attention. Of course that wasn't to say she wasn't getting any attention at all. The elf was very conscious of the appraising looks she was getting from various members of the gathering. Jagkatha knew she was very attractive even by elven standards and she revelled in the fact. Catching the eye of the ranger sitting across from her, the elf grinned and winked at Megwyn, before she was pulled into a conversation on her side of the table, one of the many that made up the constant yet comforting buzz of voices amidst the crowd. Her eyes travelled the crowd as she listened and talked with her companions, always watching even as she relaxed and enjoyed the bright and happy mood of the evening.

Heya Sea. Nice to see another Kiwi amidst the Pen. *grins* Very nice poem. Short and simple, but captivating because of it. Welcome -
Hey Tanny I'm posting here on behalf of Phoenix. She is psyched about the game and wants to play but has no internet at the moment so won't be able to post a character until Monday. Consider this a placeholder for her?

Jagkatha. Female. Elf. Vain - Thinks she's the prettiest Skilled fighter - very good with long bow but prefers close quarters combat with knives/short swords. Bit of a reckless one - she loves more than anything to be in the heat of battle and has a rather quick temper. Despite all her flaws she is in general a good person and doesn't go out of her way to make enemies. She just likes to teach them lessons with her shinies.

Dibs on the poncy elf! More on character as soon as I think poncy enough

Samantha sighed softly as she finished her preparations for the meeting at House Sawall. She couldn't help but wonder how many of the remaining four would arrive. She supposed that Sabastian was a given, but after the way things had turned at Duke's meeting even that could change. Worry about that when you get there, she told herself. Rechecking her form in the mirror, Samantha let out another sigh, before gathering her her 'public face' about herself like a shroud and making her way to House Sawall

Is there cake>?

Sitting in her living room, Samantha looked at the two messages that had been delivered to her. The first had been Sabastian's message. Following closely behind, the second had been an announcement of Chosyre's disappearance and possible death. She was at a complete and utter loss now for as what to do. Samantha had no idea if it had been luck or good politics that had kept her safe. The possibility that her house was seen as too small to bother about also existed, but if that were the case such a plan could potentially backfire now. How many of them were left? There was herself, Sabastian, Sol and...what had happened to Denor? She had received no word of his disappearance or death but he had vanished from all public activities. Could he be behind these deaths? Samantha sighed and looked again at the notes. Only four candidates left. And still the death's continued. Samantha sighed softly to herself and, moving to her writing desk, began to compose a letter of condolences to the House of Aricline, before writing to Sabastian to confirm her presence at his requested meeting. Maybe this time around she would get some answers without people dropping dead. Hopefully...

Hey stranger. Good to see you around. I really really like this poem. As Sweet said above the tumbling rhythm pulled me into it and it reminded me of a couple of songs I know. Very nicely written. *hugs*

Just a quick update on Gryph's behalf to let you know that the conference he's on doesn't appear to have readily available internet access. If he gets a chance and all the specials have voted, he'll post the end to Night Phase, but as far as things are looking this may be postponed till his return tomorrow afternoon (to give you all a gauge, it's midday here now). He apologises for the delays and asks us to continue to RP and have fun.

It had been a relatively calm day at the Pen - peaceful almost - until the tranquility oft' found on weekends was shattered by a high pitched squeal of delight. Suddenly, the rooms were awash with brightly coloured (and rather shiny) bunny rabbits, all bouncing through the Pen at various speeds and heights. There were even some plain brown ones. Following close behind was a happy, giggly CheerMynx, a pair of playboy bunny ears atop her own head as she merrily bounced after the rabbits, trying, it seemed, to catch them all at once. Finally, the feline caught one of the plain brown rabbits and, much to various horror, promptly bit its head off. Only then were Pennites able to see that the remarkably lifelike rabbits were in fact both chocolate and hollow, the shiny ones merely covered in foil. Grinning toothily over a mouthful of chocolate, CheerMynx swallowed noisely before addressing the Pen. "Like, Happy Easter! Feel totally free to chase and catch a rabbit! I think some of them, like, have eggs too!" OOC: Happy Easter to all. Hope you enjoy your weekend
