Jagkatha immediately moved in the darkness until she felt a solid wall at her back. Dropping to one knee, she quickly unstrung her bow and stored the string in her pack. She had only a handful of arrows left and wanted to save them. Her short swords would do her for the moment. Standing up, the elf watched the darkness, waiting for her eyes to adjust as she listened to the hushed voices of the Company talking amidst each other. Feeling a familiar presence at her side, Jagkatha smiled as Megwyn slipped her arm around the elf's waist. Resting her head on the ranger's shoulder, the two stood in silence for a moment, taking comfort in the closeness as the aldrenaline from the fight left their bodies. The silence held between them, until Jagkatha broke it with a sigh. "This is hell on my complexion." Megwyn sniggered, a foreign sound in the darkness. "'s okay hun. You're still the prettiest." "Damn right I am." More would have passed between the two, but at that moment there was a summoning call from the group. Regretfully, the two separated and moved closer to the Company to hear the proposed plans for action.

Jagkatha woke almost immediately when she felt Megwyn's hand on her shoulder. Hearing the noises herself, she nodded to the ranger and shook off her tiredness like a blanket, quietly reaching for her bow staff and a string. Making almost no noise, the elf strung her bow, senses constantly searching the gloom for the location of the sounds as she checked the position of her knives and notched an arrow into her bow string, moving into position as she watched and waited.

Jagkatha kept up a steady stream of swearwords in her mind as she followed the Fellowship through the invading darkness. Her skin crawled at the dirty, unaired smell of the place and she longed to take a bath to get rid of the mud and scum she could feel on herself. She could hear Megwyn's steady breathing as the ranger walked behind her, but beyond that her keen senses were distorted by the echo of sounds that bounced off the walls and back again. She thought she could hear Mattias and Frerin talking, but in truth it could have been anyone. The elf sighed wearily. Any one of them could be a traitor. And in this dark, no one would be able to tell until it was too late. Checking the placement of her weapons, Jagkatha kept her head down and continued to follow the Company, her thoughts preoccupied with the deterioration of their situation. OOC: No vote for me either sorry.

Jagkatha swore in an extremely unladlylike fashion as the Wargs attacked, bringing up her bow staff to block the teeth of one that lunged for her neck. Circling the staff, Jagk twisted the beast's neck, reaching behind her for a short sword which she used to sever the Warg's head from its neck. Discarding her bow staff out of the way, the elf grabbed her second sword and leapt into the fight, dodging those of her company who fought around her as she focused only on killing the intruding beasts.

Mattias increased his pace to catch up to Jagkatha and Megwyn, ignoring the glare his fellow elf gave him at his unwelcome interruption. "So what do you two think about that slaughtered animal?" he asked in a hushed tone. Jagkatha shrugged and shook her head. "It could have been anyone of us. And too many of us are strangers to one another to be completely sure of anything." Mattias nodded, walking just behind the two girls. "Well, Jagk, I'll tell you one thing I'm sure of." Looking around, he moved closer to whisper in the girls' ears. "While I'm not entirely sure if he did it, I'm almost certain I saw Raus around the animal during the night." Jagk looked up at Mattias sharply. "You think it was he?" Mattias only shrugged before moving away from the girls and once more taking his place in the line, leaving Jagkatha to mull over the information she had just heard as they continued along their journey. OOC: Vote for Savage Dragon/Raus

Jagkatha shook her head in distaste as she collected her pack and bow staff. The stench of the slaughtered beast's blood climbed into her nose, the memory clinging long after they had started walking again. Who was idiotic enough to butcher a pack beast? Jagkatha held no qualms about murder but only if she could justify it. The beast had not been lame nor ill, and they were not in need of food... Sighing softly, the elf joined the line of travelers, her eyes searching the faces of those she went with in hope of finding an answer. Moving up to join Megwyn, Jagk slipped her free hand into the ranger's and kissed her cheek gently, falling in perfect step as the two walked in silence amongst the Company

It's ok you guys. Seriously. The first two times were fine but they were also in the same period of time. It just goes against everything I'd created Jagkatha to be for her to put up with those things constantly happening to her. *shrugs* Yeah she's a *****...but I kinda like her *rueful grin*

The impact of the banana on her face had surprised Jagkatha long enough for the dwarves to escape what would have for them been certain maiming. Before she fully managed to gather her wits about her, another stranger appeared and wiped the muck off her face. Still clenching her fists, Jagkatha watched Linador continue on his way, leaving her with noone to vent her rage to. Sighing with frustration (and muttering a death curse on Stoomp's name), Jagkatha turned around and headed back to her quarters to clean of the horrible sticky feeling on her face, hoping she would have enough time to get cleaned up before she saw Megwyn again.

I'd like to second Tanny guys. The first couple of times was funny but this is making it harder and harder for me to come up with ideas and if i play in character, Jagk would probably severely hurt or kill someone - she's just that vain. I'm not trying to gripe or anything just...there are other players to get caught by Stoomp's clumsyness and pulling Jagk out of nowhere to appear behind him for the sake of a cheap gag if going to make my participation in this game a lot harder. This is probably going to get me lynched but oh well. Sorry for any ruffled feathers. Edit: I've been advised to expand on my character personality wise to explain why I don't want her to be a running gag. She is a very attractive elf and knows this. Hence her vanity. It is to the extent that she often takes jokes personally and unless she is calmed down *will* hurt or kill the offender. It won't bother her if they are on her side, her family has enough political power to keep her from being kicked out of Rivendell. Anything bad that *doesn't* happen to her is funny - hence why Megwyn getting the water was amusing but the table full of food landing on her resulted in a fit. She doesn't like to be around too many people because those that know her temper get edgy around her. She prefers to keep in the company of Megwyn and a few elves she has known most of her life. She interacts as need be, but is very slow to forgive.

Jagkatha sighed with frustration as she stared at the pile of clothes and supplies that hid her bed from view. She had to admit to herself that she simply could not take everything she wanted. Sighing a soft lament, she instead set about packing her tools into her rucksack - a few knives, soap, some blankets, some travelling food, a spare string for her bow... Eventually she decided on a few choice outfits that served the double bonus of both style and practicality (she was a vain elf, but Jagkatha had journeyed enough to learn not to be silly when the need to travel light arose) and added those to the small bundle. Securing the rucksack closed, Jagkatha then began to adorn it with the tools she needed and wanted to keep at hand. Her elven short swords in their sheaths were strapped to the sides, a small quiver of arrows and a bow string attached to the back. She then found her long bow, flexed the wood slightly to feel if there was any sign of age, and left it unstrung. If it came to fighting, Jagk would rely on her swords first and foremost. The bow unstrung was as useful as a staff, and could be easily assembled if the need for a distance attack arose. Stepping back from her bed, Jagkatha smiled at the smaller, more ordered collection of travelling equipment. Grabbing a cloak from the hanger by the door, the elf left her room and wandered off to see how Megwyn was finding the task of packing for the journey.

Jagkatha tried to keep a straight face at the squawk of shock that came from Meg as she felt the cold water seep into her clothes - and even succeeded for about 3 seconds - before she collapsed in a heap of laughter. Megwyn tried to look indignant and glared at Jagkatha while Stoomp cowered behind Jin, terrified that this time he had gone too far. Gasping for breath, Jagk managed to pull herself off the ground and onto her knees, where she clutched at Meg's legs and tried to look up at her emploringly. "My hero," she managed through the giggles. "T-taking an onslaught of water for me to sa-save my p-poor defenseless silk dress!" This proved too much for the two girls and they both collapsed about each other in hysterics, leaving the two dwarves to look on in bafflement before Jagk managed to get enough control over herself to stand up. "Come on," she said, still giggling. "Let's go get changed into some clean clothes before the singing starts." The dwarves watched the elf and the ranger disappear, still giggling, before Jin shook his head and shrugged at Stoomp. "Don't think I'll ever understand females," he muttered before moving off to find something to drink.
