  1. Arielle passes quickly behind both Tiff and Rich, blushing and trying to make as little noise as possible. How can Tiff be so... brainless... and so beautiful? And now, Gym class... She sighs, hiding behind the door to her locker while putting her stuff in. She hated Gym. She was so awkward, nothing like Tiff... the blonde cheerleader was always gracious, lithe... all movements perfect. No wonder Rich had eyes just for her. Joe and Wally... her two best friends... they avoided her during class after she refused to believe Chandler could beat people. It hurt her. She didn't know where Joe was, but she had a good idea where to find Walter. Arielle looks quickly at the clock. There was still time. She runs to where she knows Walter would be reviewing stuff for next classes. And sure, there he is. "Wally?" He turns in a start, distracted as he was and never noticing Arielle until she plopped down at his side. "Wally, you are not mad at me, are you?" She blushes, looking at his eyes once but quickly lowering hers. She had never fought with Wally, he always supported her... he was her best friend, the one with whom she would talk about every little important thing that happened to her. But he was avoiding her now. She coudn't stand the idea that he was mad at her. Walter seems to hesitate a bit, then Arielle sticks a note into his books and sprints to Gym, blinking tears away.
  2. Arielle smiles quietly to herself, and glances timidly at where Chandler is. She may have had trouble accepting him, and she still thinks what he does is really, really bad... but she's now happy that she had given him chance to speak and defend himself.
  3. Arielle listens to Jaime, surprised to find him speaking his mind. And suddenly finds that the crazy guy, as she had always dubbed him in her mind, has a surprising good argument. One that, indeed, makes lots more of sense to her. Matthew says he's a Christian... and talks about love and all that stuff... Then goes on with clear prejudice against anyone who doesn't follow his creed. He doesn't even believe there's any chance of rescue for Chandler. Instead, he could be doing something to help him. Reach out a hand to those in need, I believe is what they say. Is this what he is doing? Is this to be a Christian, then? Arielle nods, blushing slightly. "Thanks for telling me all this, Jaime... " OOC Changing vote to Matthew/Vahktang
  4. *enters the OOC room with a BIG cake (hope you all like chocolate) and a trolley of refreshment, and puts some banners around very quickly* Hey DEAN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! *huge hugs* Wish you all the best things in life!
  5. "Psst! Ari, Tiff, Walter! I just got this note! Have you seen it? It's from Chandler. I don't think he did it after all. Must be that Meat has gotten more violent recently. We should turn him in! Here pass this note back around... " Arielle freezes as she listens to Rich calling her name, hating the way she feels herself blushing. She quickly looks around, frantically, but Wally is too concentrated on some talk to Joe, and Tiff is talking about cheerleader stuff with her friends. And Rich is there, almost at her side, with that note on his hands... Awwwwwww Rich smiles at Arielle as she glances her eyes to him and quickly picks the note he's handing. She speaks in a very low voice, keeping her eyes low and blushing hard. "I saw the note, Rich... I was never sure it was Chandler... I... don't think.. it's..." She gulps down, and finishes in a rush, "I will think and talk to Wally." Then she turns rather sharply and walks quickly to where Wally and Joe are. Rich... he's so nice. He cares for people, he's trying to understand Chandler. And he knows when to admit mistakes... What did he see in Tiff? She bites her lips softly, forcing her mind off of thoughts from Rich. She did have the impression that it sometimes bothered her two friends... "Wally, Joe... have you seen Chandler's note? I told you I wanted to listen to him first... and... I don't want him to get into more trouble with the Principal. Not while we can't be sure that he is the bully. Even Rich..." She blushes again, before finishing valiantly, "... Even Rich thinks now it wasn't him." She presses down Chandler's note into Wally's hands, ignoring their surprised look, and goes to Tiff. Well, I don't need that note to talk to her... she won't understand anything there. But why am *I* talking to her? *Rich* would be the one to convince her! "Tiff? Rich wants to talk to you, quick! It's about that meanie. Listen to him?" And she leaves her, before getting involved in some inane talk about clothing. She knows that just mentioning Rich's name will make Tiff look for him. OOC No changing votes yet, but I may
  6. OOC I think Nave means to *follow* Methinks' vote... as he said he was tying his vote to MeThinks'.
  7. As Arielle is leaving right after Walter, she passes in front of Jaquie and Chandler. As Walter just stops and blocks the passage, she can't avoid listening to what they say. Bina? Just because she's the new girl? "Jaquie, sorry for intruding... do you really think Bina has anything to do with it?" "We never had any trouble before Bina came over," repeats the blind girl contemptuously, recognizing Arielle's voice. Arielle sighs, knowing she has again somehow put Jaquie against her. But this time she wasn't patronizing... she just asked a question! Blushing, she looks away and apologizes. Jaquie's senses are sharper than ours... could it be that she knows something we don't ? Can it be that she senses something amiss with Bina? She wished she could ask that straight to Jaquie's face, but she wasn't sure it wouldn't just bring her another tirade of sarcastic words. She wished also she could talk to Wally about that. OOC A vote for Bina/Jammeez ~~~~~~ Edit: forgot to vote... =P
  8. Arielle looks confused at both Joe and Walter, listening to both their mumblings... Chandler, then? He was late... he did things induced by drugs... but would that make him a bully? Or had he beaten Billy by chance... and this was not connected to any other nasty things? There was also Jamie... he liked all that bomb stuff... but he was at class. Should I ask Rich's opinion... ? That single thought makes her blush a violent crimson, and she hides it by pretending to look for something in her pack. ~~~~~~ Edit: correcting a messy sentence...
  9. Arielle can't help a soft giggle at Tiff's questions, and she relaxes a bit. Then she swallows a yelp when Wally pokes her ribs with a note. Glancing at Mr. Blackburn and blushing when she sees his eyes on her direction, she hastily picks it and gives Walter a small sign to wait, and goes back to listening to Mr. Blackburn with half her mind. Because the other half is, uncharacteristically for her, very distracted between thoughts of bullies, Tiff's questions, Rich's intelligent eyes observing the class... She shakes herself awake, blushing harder. She will be in trouble if she misses the end of the class... as she is quite sure no one of her friends is paying much attention so she won't have help if she needs it. What reminds her of Walter.
  10. Arielle starts at Laurie's yelp, then looks around. She shakes her head when the teacher calls Chandler's attention, wondering how anyone could be so uncaring about himself as to do what that boy did. But it was no problem of hers, as Chandler never talked to her - not about anything that made sense to her. Then she hastily writes a checklist and, while the teacher is busy with Chandler, calls Laurie softly. Laurie's flitting gaze shifts to her, and Arielle blushes. Why am I doing this? Laurie never talks to anyone... we hardly say a good morning to each other! "Laurie, this is what he," indicates the teacher with her eyes, "was talking about while you were... distracted." Still blushing, Arielle hands her the paper and quickly dips her face over her notebook, making herself busy.
  11. "The... the first one was meit-tosis," Walter stutters. "S-s-second one was meios-sis..." He stops as Arielle's hand touch his arm. "Wally, breath and be calm. I don't know why you start stuttering at me at the oddest times, but you know that there's no reason for you to be nervous." She cocks her head at him, smiling. "You don't think I look like a teacher checking your answers, do you?" She winks playfully. "Or... do you?" She becomes suddenly serious, blushing hard. "Sorry if I do, Wally. It's just that you're one of the few I know won't laugh at me if I got some absurd answer. And I hate when I have to read them to the whole class, and they're wrong. " With that, they go on checking their answers.
  12. lol That's okay for me
  13. As Tiff finally sits down on the chair and starts talking to another girl, Arielle sighs and sits down at her customary desk, right next to Joe's and kiddy-corner from Walter's. She turns to Joe, who's still nodding his head on the beat of the music and looking at Bina's general direction. "Hey, Joe..." she pokes his ribs. "Ouch!" He turns to her, taking off the headphones. "Don't do that, Ari. You know I hate it!" "Yeah, but it's almost the only way to get your attention back to me," says her cooly. "You wanted help with Ms. Norman's assignment, didn't you? Well, you missed the point completely! You'll have to review the topic completey, and pay more attention to what she actually asked to you. It's not just drone on and on and on about the general idea of the book!" "Fine, fine... but I thought you'd help me, Ari. You always do." He flashes her a charming grin. Arielles giggles, not resisting his friendly face. "It's always like that, isn't it, Joe? Okay, I will give you some ideas, you flesh them out. And try not sleeping again in her class. One day she'll pick you and you'll be in big trouble. Isn't it, Wally?... Wally? ... Hey, Walter!" Walter looks up from his assignment again, mumbling still about DNA-polymerases, nucleosides, nucleotides and stuff. He takes some seconds to notice Arielle's cute smile, the one that always makes his heart flutter. "Ah... uh... sorry, Ari... You were saying...?" "Telling Joe that he's better not sleep in class. But never mind. Did you get all those answers from Biology? I would like to check some of them with you... ' He nods, smiling a bit. At least he always had her company, she liked studying with him, and talking to him about so many things... including Richard. He makes a face at the thought. "Wally? Something wrong?" He shakes his head in a hurry. If she ever found out he didn't like talking about Richard, she would be hurt. And worse, she would retract in that shell of hers that she had with almost everybody. He couldn't stand the idea of not being able to talk to her about anything. He just wished she would notice his own feelings... Tiff's voice intrudes again, now talking about everybody's boyfriends. Arielle just pretends she's not listening, decided not to get drawn again into that specific conversation. Last time she knew she was blushing madly, and just air-headed Tiff would never notice she was pretty uncomfortable about that. What Richard had ever seen on Tiff? He was so intelligent, so interested in everything going on around him... he wasn't a boy who would be attracted to... Well, Tiff was beautiful. And popular. While herself... Arielle feels herself blushing.
  14. Richard points to where Arielle's talking to Walter. "Sure... Hey! Isn't Arielle over there?" The blondie looks over where the jock is pointing and smiles. "Yes it's her! Let's go chatting with her!" Arielle's eyes catch Richard as soon as he enters. "Rick's here!" She smiles immediately, quite forgetting Walter. Then, a second later she registers Tiffany clinging at his side. "Uh-oh... Tiff's also... and she's coming here... " No... you're not coming... aw, Tiff... The blondie hugs Arielle, chatting fast about something the brunette quite doesn't understand. "Huh... yup, sure, Tiff... Oh... you look so well in your outfit... blue and white are nice colors for you..." "Ohhh thanks Ari... I do love this... but don't you think that the sweater could have some stripes here, and a detail in white here, and maybe we could add something in light blue just at the top so that it matches my eyes..." Arielle sighs softly, nodding at Tiff and glancing at Richard who is looking at them with a quite amused expression. She doesn't notice how Walter just goes back to reading his assignment, almost hiding behind it.
  15. Right after Walter sits, a hand appears in front of him holding a book. He looks up startled, and meets Arielle's eyes. "Hi, Walter. I thought you might like this one." She smiles quickly, leaving the book on his desk, and makes a face. "Had to come in real quick... Rupert was again trying to get pictures with his camera. He knows I hate it, and he keeps trying to get me!" Arielle looks around, although she knows Richard won't arrive this early. He'd be probably talking to that brainless Tiff... She sighs. "Have you met that new exchange student? Bina Jamhausen? Oh... no, I don't think so. You're worse than me..." She smiles at him affectionately, patting his arm. "I wish Joe arrived soon. He asked my help with his assignment, he missed the point completely! Bet he was sleeping when Ms. Norman explained it."
  16. Thanks, Jamz... I know the series but never watched them... not really into sitcoms, and no time either...
  17. Thanks all... but let me really congratulate *everybody* for their RP and the fun it was being together. Even those who couldn't participate a lot remained IC to the end, and I loved it And thanks to Gnarlitch, for all the fun and the really good flavor text ! It was part of our RP setting that Amanda and Markus had been separated by circumstances and really met just by chance in the wagon train. But when we were rolled as packmates, we had to adapt what we had already set between us, Merelas, and Elwen. But I think also that the fact that we had that background helped Amanda to stay quite undercover, at least until almost the end. I don't think Amanda could have done that... not without risking arising Nate's suspicion on her sudden behaviour (remember that he did suspect there was something amiss, just never got to corner Amanda about that). In a story, maybe Amanda could have taken advantage of the shootdown where Cartwright died to also kill Nate... however, she did love Nathaniel in a caring way. She just didn't love him as much as she loved Markus. I don't think she would have been able to really kill him in cold blood. She acted driven by revenge... not because she was a killer. Due to being "packmates", I think Markus did help Amanda planning the kills and how to cover them, though he never actually killed. He's a really determined man, although it was apparent just at the first round of lynching. I intend to write Amanda's story... as soon as I can get all pieces together in an enjoyable way. And... a question I have to you... Why didn't you keep trying to lynch Deg/Markus? We were a bit surprised he never appeared as a suspect again until last round. *hugs to all* See you next game!
  18. Thanks for the ending, Gnarly *hugs* Just clarifying some things... Amanda and Markus have been lovers for at least 2 years, before her marriage to Nathaniel. She married him forced by her father, because of deep debts that Nate's family could help with. All the kills were done by Amanda, in her look for revenge against those who impoverished her father (thus leading her into her marriage) or to those hired by her father to send Markus away from the farm (Jake and Blondie). So, Markus never lied when he said he was innocent. Amanda killed the pioneers. Markus has never killed any person in all his life, and will hopefully keep so. Amanda was driven by both grief and despair for a lost love. Maybe I'll write up Amanda's story... Deg, wouldn't you write Markus'? Neither me nor Amanda ever got to know what happened to Markus all those years they were apart (3 years)..
  19. Gnarly, do you agree with what Arielle is planning? And being interested in lady Celes as I supposed? Just to set the RP... Merelas, it seems great We'll talk this over and post the final interaction here... ~Tanny
  20. MeThinks, would you be then one of Arielle's friends? Of course she has eyes for that jock and talks to you a lot about him... hehe... but she thinks you're a good friend and truly likes you. Merelas, I was thinking about the lines of you being also Arielle's good friend and maybe even a confidant. Ideas?
  21. Vahk, as far as Mark/Peter doesn't have any tendency to preach and try to convert people by being purely insistent and annoying, it's fine for me (I like K&C board rules... hehe...) And also, I don't have problems about Eirish's creepy guy. ~Tanny
  22. Laranta struggles with the power holding her, reaching out once more. "Heinrich. Beware. I sense someone stalking you. In the physical world. And in the Shadow world. I may help in the shadow. You must take care in the physical."
  23. Amanda sees Nate coming from Markus' wagon, and frowns slightly worried. Then, as she listens to his broken sentences, she hugs him once. She loves him more than ever, knowing very well how his heart is heavy and the effort he needs to make himself point someone. If both him and Markus agree on Blondie... and he was hostile against Charlotte, wasn't he? OOC Vote for Blondie/DeanTheAdequate
  24. It will be fun. We set this over PM, then send to Deggy. Otherwise, we'll clutter the thread. *hugs*
  25. Merelas, can I be the cute girl from Biology class? I'm Arielle Thompson, rather cute and shy brunette bookworm who loves Biology. She thinks that the jock who sits at the back of the class is simply fantastic... although he probably has eyes just for that (brainless) cheerleader. If Merelas agrees, we can set details later. And if anyone wants to play "that jock", feel free... or he can also be an NPC. ~Tanny PS. Ehh... yup, I'm in.
