People drift away after lunch, some keeping company to each other and some choosing to be alone. Jaqui and Walter are seen talking, as Serena and Shana. Amanda and Markus, always followed by Takako-san, pause at the door to the garden, observing Lord Washima and Elisabeth. George seems lost in thoughts, while Van Muncie walks around the house, examining the several open rooms. Not very clearly, a shadow of a coyote can be seen following him some steps behind. The afternoon passes away in silence, most people choosing at last to rest a while before dinner time. There's some unnoticed talk somewhere in the house, and later small noises in some rooms. Whispered swearing would be heard if there were someone paying attention, but not even lord Kinjiru's guards seem to notice something is amiss. In a balcony in the second floor, Lord Kinjiru looks at the gardens around the house, brooding. **** OOC There was no kill this night phase. Day phase begins, and it will happen, story-wise, between middle-afternoon and soon after dinner. You have around 48 hours to post your accusations. Good hunting! ~~~~ Edit: formatting

Nothing new to add to what has said here... home for me is where you feel safe, protected, loved. Where you can go to when there's a storm, knowing you'll have at least a brief respite. Where you can breath and forget or reflect, as you choose. I read this somewhere... Home is where your heart is. It doesn't need to be a place... can be a person. I feel at home with my boyfriend, wherever we happen to be. Talking to him, or just being together, has possibly more meaning for me than being physically at "home" (meaning, the house I live in). Having a physical home is important, having a home for the heart, also. Having both together, in the same 'place', is happiness *wanders away, thinking why she felt so suddenly philosophical... *

For those who have been killed/lynched: If your character has been actually killed in the story, you can keep RPing as ghosts and interacting with other ghosts. If you haven't been killed (as for example Javier/Xanthus), you can keep RPing but without leaving your "current premises" unless you PM me with your plans In any case (ghost or locked away), "dead" players cannot influence the active players in any way, either IC or OOC. Amanda talks quietly to Markus, with Takako-san sitting silently right behind her. "This is just so... senseless... " Her voice trails off, once again lost in her past. Markus holds her lovingly, kissing her forehead. "You are alive, even if under guard. Don't fret so much. The murderer will be found, and we will go home and forget all this." She nods wearily, following her husband's suspicious look at Elisabeth Christie and hearing his soft whisper. Too calm. She was just too calm. And past Elisabeth, she notices also Shana's look. "Mornin already? Wha happended to night?" Several people turn at hearing the loud and drunk voice, more than one frowing in disgust. Javier stumbles on the edge of the carpet, grabbing Serena for support and spilling his beer over her before passing out on top of her. Both fall to the ground, Serena's surprised shout making Lord Washima run quickly to her, katana in hand. "Are you well, Lady?" Serena nods weakly, accepting Van Muncie's help to stand up when Lord Washima rolls Javier's body from over her. Amanda and Shana quickly take care of Serena, holding her and helping her to her bedroom - followed closely by Takako. Lord Washima glares at Javier's snoring form, and Elisabeth shakes her head. "One must know how to drink." Guards arrive and drag Javier away under Lord Kinjiru's stern look. Then, with an almost inaudible sigh, the ninja lord apologizes to his guests. "Mr. Javier has had trouble controling himself, so I deem necessary to help him. He will be locked into his rooms, and guarded so that no harm comes to him and he can't harm others. I apologize for his behaviour, for I was aware of his taste for strong alcohol when I invited him. I have sent two of my maids to help Miss Serena, and I hope she will be soon with us again. " Bowing deeply, he leaves. **** OOC: Javier/_Xanthus_ was innocent. It's lunch time! I mean... night phase. Please note that this "night phase" will take place, story-wise, from near lunch time to middle afternoon. OOC I'm extending day phase for another 14 hours (so, until about 1:30 pm EST tomorrow), both to give chance for those "no vote yet" posters place their votes and also because it'll be better for me to manage, since my vacations ended last weekend. (And also because I'm in no condition to think of a posting right now). At the end of that period, whoever has the most votes will be lynched. Any tie will be decided by throwing dice. Have you ever been surrounded by people but felt completely alone in the Universe? Have you ever got up on purpose in the middle of the night just to be able to see the stars of a specific constellation? Have you ever stayed hours just gazing at the night sky, letting your thoughts drift until you can't remember at all why you were there? Have you ever gone to the movies just to have a place to nap after lunch? (not my idea... but it's a fun question ) Have you ever been abroad and spoken to a new aquaintance in a language not your native, just to find out some time later that you both had the same native language? Have you ever traveled thousands of miles and ended up meeting by chance a friend in a touristic point wherever you were visiting? Gwai: #3... ehm... not a towel... a pillow... during a pillow war...

(*rofl*) A wolf looks amazed at the bikini-clad ogress by Wyvern's door, and then shimmers into a Tanuki form. She slips by her almost unnoticed - being caught by her tail in the last moment. But, being more interested in almost-dragons than tanukis in general, the ogress releases her and Tanny quickly enters the Recruiter's Office, breathing quicker than normal. I definitely must be more careful... She reads curiously the top application then, laughing out (a tanuki laughter), she goes to Crichon's feet and nuzzles him, sitting down to make him company - always curious to know what will happen at the Recruiter's Office.

A sudden howl is heard and, seconds later, a black wolf jumps at Merelas and pushes him to the ground, nuzzling and licking him enthusiastically. Shimmering back into human form, Tanny hugs him. YAY! Congratulations, Mere!!!!
