  3. Yawning, yawning, yawn, yawn Woke up this morning at bloody dawn Fumble, fumble, ah there it is! My spoon and cup in the sunny east Open, open, my little drawer Where oh where is my coffee powder? Aghast, I saw, my empty bottle No, I groan, with a little rattle Scrape, scrape, scrapitty-scrape A spoonful, oh I’m not too late Sipping, sipping I found my haven My morning coffee, ah heaven Oooh, contentment, what a delight Taste of coffee so light Sad, sad, oh despondent me I think tomorrow I’ll be having tea I glance at my cuppa, And sigh, it’s over Another sip, another gulp Coffee’s gone, without a doubt Forlornly I mourn my morning cup The loss of joy in just one gulp Ah me and my coffee Too much now I have to pee What a pity, reduced to this All over now gone in piss Perhaps one day I’ll find my joy Once again in a coffee pot boil. Hope it isn't too poor for your taste

  9. My face is a torrent of rain, Awashed with agonies of pain, As I face this pitiless world, With its dark sails blooming unfurl’d. Ah me! To be one w’out kith or kin, The solitude flush’d within my skin; Standing abuse show’rd by ravaging hands, Encroaching fitfully upon my lands. Granted is not to me my wants! I am instead the wall mankind taunts; Ever I wish to be of higher value, That Man care for me than hurt me in lieu. Alas, that is not to be! For clear it is this hurtful race, Treating all for selfish needs; Never will there be ‘nother race, Who breed and grow like pests and weeds. Despondence filled are the minds of the wise, Who spectate yet ignore this world of vice; Troubled are the souls of days long gone, Who slaved and toiled for children yet borne. Hear ye hear ye! Repent, repent children of today! For fear of all ye sinners be snared. Repent, repent that all faults may, Achieve redress and your souls spared! Repent I say repent you hear, Judgement is sighted judgement is near; As consumed are all by greed and lust, Justice is come so cower you must!

  14. Who knows oh what suffering wealth brings? To have wealth and yet know not what to spend. Paupers are green and never owned any rings, Oh how they wish they had some to spend! Abalone, steak or other delicates, Ah suffer do I for choice of food. When ale and wine I have but crates, Drinking some is never tabooed. They envy, they curse and they beg for cash, Ah but they don’t know how bad wealth gets, Whilst they live and eat like trash, We wonder what broth to give the pets. Every night we would rack our minds, Which quilt to use – velvet or silk? While outside one’s joyful for all little finds, We worry how to finish all that milk! While streets provide nothing but chills, We grumble that the hearth is far too hot! While wee urchins fall sick with ills, We ponder ‘bout the leftovers in the pot. Ah this funny world who envies the rich, While they reap only what they sow, Ne’er do they know how we suffer so. Oh, this comic world who envies the rich! Please comment =)

  22. Lively little Daniel was a wee bit squirrel, Who gives much trouble for sweet ol’ Momma Squirrel, Everyday he jumps, jump up, jump down; From bough to bough he jumps in their tree, Free of worries, of enemies, free as can be. “Now look out for wet spots, look out for danger”, Always Momma’s advice falls on the deaf ear, As lively Daniel jumps here, there, and everywhere. On this branch, yonder bush, never stopping for more than a spell, Where he will call, no one can ever really tell. Come November when the rain was near, From the mouth of Momma you will hear: “Indoors, indoors, my little children, come indoors, The rain has come…let us keep warm!” But lively Daniel still jumps as was his norm. On this branch, yonder bush, never stopping for more than a spell, Where he will call, no one can ever really tell. Even in rain, lively Daniel enjoys his fun. From bough to bough he jumps in their tree, Free of worries, of enemies, free as can be. Alas, alas, for the dear wee Daniel, The spot was wet where the rain did spill, And lively Daniel came tumbling down, From bough to bough towards the earth he fell, When stopped was he he had not one pal. But caring Momma leaped and bounced, Towards the earth where her son was trounced, Cajoling her darling to go back indoors, Where Momma nursed her darling Daniel, ‘Til all was well and lively again was Daniel. Admonished was he to learn careful ways, Promised he did to learn careful ways. Scarcely a moment he left his nest, From bough to bough he jumps in their tree, Free of worries, of enemies, free as can be. THis is one of my first poems...please comment on it...=) bring on the worst and the best
