  1. this is beautiful. any luck with the guitar line? i'd absolutely love to hear it as intended.
  2. *nods* i also am so VERY glad you're not trying anything.. cuz if you did i'd have to hunt you down and drag you back kicking and screaming all the way.. only one suggestion, aside from "don't you dare" the metre of this is just a bit off to go with the rest, and i think i'd edit that to "watch the blood spill, red and fresh" otherwise - *nod* loud and clear, my friend, loud and clear.
  3. hey Falcon.. if you ever figure out how to figure it out - let me know, will you? or, alternatively, write a book, make a couple million, and retire..
  4. /cynical on *laughs* is society pointless? only in that it's an integral part of life, which is pointless in itself. /cynical off
  5. *nod* good point. Totally aside from any MicroSquish product weaknesses, even. i would definitely suggest e-mail for the first one, and include in that issue a "vote" on whether those receiving it would wish to continue with the e-mail format or would prefer the "glossier" Word format. (though i think any who didn't respond, i'd chalk up as e-mail votes, myself.) Still checking time availabilities against committments and trying to figure what the heck type of column i'd write. Perhaps it would help if you tossed out some ideas of the "areas" you would like to see covered and the types of things you're interested in including?
  6. THAT is always a plus!
  7. Ayshela races through the Cabaret Room replacing the worn banners and adding streamers, setting birthday cake and beverages out for everyone to enjoy, then races out again leaving "Happy Birthday Blondemoon" echoing behind her with faint murmerings about lost car keys and such intermingled..
  8. *brings in popcorn and passes it around*
  9. *nods* *hugs* i think there's probably several of us here came from the same mold, or were separated at birth, or something. mingled sadness and relief at being vividly reminded that i'm not the only one who feels so.
  10. there is no "fair" in life, unfortunately true. However, sometimes life seems cruelly unbalancedly unfair, equally unfortunately true. And sometimes one of the most challenging freedoms to find is the freedom to say "ouch" when it hurts. Here, that's more than okay.
  11. *nod* i've often wondered similar things myself, mothers and fathers both.. the failure to or incapacity to love those who should be a cherished part of life.. *sigh* leave it to you to take my musings, my ponderings, and put them in words far more elegantly and eloquently than i ever could. well done.
  12. *nod* that's an excellently done echo of this bit: which, btw, i absolutely love. this is very well done, as always. i'm glad to see you about here again.
  13. heeh i love it! *awaits the next installment* **hands Finnius a plate of oreos and a glass of chocolate milk**
  14. vividly written. well done.
  15. *hugs* excellently written, and yes.. i well remember. sadly, some aspects of it still remain. *hugs*
  16. nah, better be careful with calling "Mom" around here, it's as likely to have heads turning as it is in a grocery store.. LOL
  17. *laughs* so ambitious, you are! well, erm.. congratulations? now that you're life's complete, what's next?
  18. YAY!!!!! You're back!!!! *hurtling hugs* i'm glad things worked out for you, i hope the adjustment in to a new situation is smooth and not too awkward or uncomfortable. *hugs hugs hugs* yay!! you're back! *happydances*
  19. LOL well, yeah.. that would be an interesting place for one.. i've been thinking on this one and wracking my brain trying to think of anyplace that would be interesting enough it would be worth a *secret* camera.. and while there are moments in time i'd like to be a fly on the wall, i can't honestly say that there exists anyplace i would put a secret camera. *shrug*
  20. Ayshela flies through the Cabaret Room hurriedly hanging banners and setting cake and beverages on tables before flying out the door again, leaving Happy Happy Birthday!! lingering in the air behind her.
  21. Ayshela turns around and sees Wyvvern hiding something behind his back. Before she can think of an excuse to escape, he gives her a card, happy birthday wishes, and certificates for Almost Dragonic brand .. snake repellant? Well, if it *worked* that could be useful, though she might be better off not relying on it. Capturing Wyvvern briefly before he escaped, she wrapped him in a warm hug and planted a kiss on his cheek, commenting that "it's a good thing i believe it's the thought which counts." She then turns to the other well wishers with hugs and thanks.
  22. Ayshela swayed as the wave of power flowed over her, and nearly fell from her perch on the crossbeam. Throwing herself sideways, she clung to the beam and waited for her vision to fully clear. How much of the distortion was from whatever spells had been cast, and how much was from the surging, firmly repressed urge to cry, she couldn't have said for anything. Still, repressing the never-admitted, always supressed urge DID give her something other than snakes to focus her attention on, so maybe it wasn't all bad even if it was just as strange as everything else, lately.
  23. This is Ayshela's overactive conscience popping in to let you know that she's suffering an extreme incursion of Real Life this week which looks to have her bound and gagged for the rest of the week and possibly into the weekend. Anyone needing to get hold of her can PM or e-mail, she may be able to grab a moment here or there to pop in and check things but I wouldn't count on it before Saturday at the earliest. Have a wonderful week! *hugs*
  24. Melissa bounced up from her pillow by the fire saying "Well, Mr. Barclay Red-Herring, you have a lot of nerve claiming visions and flinging accusations. However, have you missed how readily and easily Vert disposes of the corpses about here? I strongly suspect HIM, and i wouldn't be in a great hurry to sample the custard salad." With an emphatic nod, she turned and left the room in search of the ladies' room.
  25. *hugs* troubled sleep you're always welcome at the Ball, and anywhere else, but real life takes precedence and research papers take time and attention. i miss you, but you do what you need and we'll be here when you get back.
