A barely seen blur flies by, suddenly resolving to the form of Ayshela as she comes to a screeching halt by Zen. "Hello and welcome!" she cries before rushing off again.

however, "tainting" works in a couple different ways - depression tends to lend itself to combinations of words which on their own are clear, coherent, and emotionally unambiguous yet in combination become ambiguous to explosively angry or desperately sorrowful. the initial image i got, though, was of handwritten lines of tear smudged words. meh, losing all thought capacity again so imma leave it there. i thought it worked, though.

What do i wish i had known.. what do i wish i could have told myself when i was small... i guess it would be - When it's good (and it will be) - enjoy it, for it won't last. When it's bad (and it will be) - bear with it, for it won't last. When it's good, share it. You never know who you'll run into who desperately needs your smile, your kindness, as all they have that day. When it's bad, learn from it, then share *that*. You can't keep everyone from making the same mistakes you did, but if we all had to make every mistake there was to make we'd never get anywhere! =) There will always be someone who needs what you do. You may not, however, recognize them. You may not know that you've done anything for them. That makes it no less important TO them, and far more important that you continue to honestly be who you are, live who you are. If someone tells you you *can't* do something that isn't physically impossible, seriously question why they would say that. Remember the cyclical nature of life. Let NO one make your choices for you. Not even the "i'll kill you if you do" types. You will forever bear the responsibility for and consequences of the choices they've made for you - and there are far worse things in life than death. Above all - it's *your* life. Live it.

Ayshela cast a brief glance about the room, seeing the weary faces and recognizing nervous gestures of some of those she knew. "I will," she said. "I'll stand guard up there while the rest of you make your way up." Grasping the rope and swinging herself out the window, she clambered up onto the roof with the ease of one who'd grown up in the trees. After a few moments checking the perimeter she returned to the rope and softly called back down "all clear," then began to patrol the roof to *keep* the way clear.

have a grand time, and happy holidays to you, and everyone else here too.

*shrug* some of us haven't been around long enough to have seen the names change, or connected them. so i'm averse to letting birthdays pass unnoticed. *shrug*

*sigh* yes, i do know that. i also know that women pushed to the edge can do a lot of things. all i said was, the way it was written, i wondered. that's *all*. *sigh*

Ayshela bustles into the Cabaret Room setting up for the next birthday celebration. Banners are hung with care, streamers fly around the room livening up even the gloomiest of corners, and the balloons.. good gods, the balloons! With a sheepish smile she admitted having gotten a little carried away. Happy Birthday, James!

'course, i still find myself wondering... did *he* wake up.. or did the cops conveniently arrive because she phoned them to come get the kid, and *she* killed him then herself? wouldn't be unheard of, and has its own temptations. hmm...

How on earth did we miss it?
Ayshela replied to Valdar and Astralis's topic in Cabaret Room Archives
Ayshela laughs maniacally and melts into the shadows leaving nothing behind but the lingering hint of laughter. -

and shall we assume that anyone who approaches that tidemark shall be pounced upon, tied up and gagged to muffle them? };> -
*nod* the dangers of trying to leave unharmed.. and wonderfully done illustration of why it's safer to leave while he's at work.

excellently done.

still working on that "throwing yourself at the ground very hard, and missing" type of flight? just be careful, it's painful when it doesn't work.
-
*nod* i like being in town partially for that reason (though being out by the refineries we weren't often out of power for too long), and partially because we're MUCH less likely to wake up in Oz here than we ever were there. Though, Falcon, if you're climbing on top of your house in the wind storms.. do us all a favor, will you? Make sure you have something to hang on to, and do remember that you really cannot fly.. you go and get yourself killed and i'll never speak to you again!

fine way up north of you here, though from the forecast i got this morning it's supposed to be "very windy" tonight. *shrug* right now we're just gusting to 31 which is really immaterial as wind speeds go. Glad the trees all missed you! *hugs*
