Elisabeth is relieved when she sees that Amanda's still alive but is still worried that the killer is still on the loose. She places up her rust taffetas gown and throws her loose auburn hair behind her neck. She sits at a table where breakfast is served, besides Lord Washima. He decides to start a conversation with her. - Did you slept well? asks the Japanese Lord - Not really, replies the socialite cooly, I wasn't drunk enough for that. Although the dinking habits of Elisabeth are obvious, Lord Washima understands how she feels, although something within him urges him to ask if she survived her first ordeal or not. The Brit finally murmurs. - Anyhow, if we don't catch an ennemy today, at least, one innocent is protected. However, I'd rather find the assassins as soon as possible.

Elisabeth have concerns about Amanda's safety. - Mrs Black might be locked up in this room, but I wish her that she'll be in safety. Although Wetherby wants to be reassuring, he knows too well what the Brit lady means. Elisabeth gets up from the table and speaks to her fellow players. - I apologies but I think that we should interrupt the game, as a sign of respect for Mr. Black. Now if you excuse me. She follows Wetherbys to her assigned room where she decides to write a letter. A letter to someone who'll understand her. Elisabeth seals the letter and gives it to Weatherby, giving him the instruction of sending these in case of anything that happens to her.

Elisabeth manages to control her breathing she closes her and remembers of Katharine Horton's logic. The very same logic that allowed her to pinpoint one of the murderers and sending her son to his own demise. - The victim, wasn't he one of these "high school" lively people? Jacqui answers to the Brit's question, then the lady continues. - Either the murderer is one of his former classmate, either he or she is trying to pull off a diversion. From my experience, it had been both. I see over many of you the expression of people who are reliving this nightmare again. Elisabeth wipes a tear away, knowing how unbearable the former experience was. - I honestly don't know who did it but I know from experience that silence leads to nothing. However, I still need to ponder a bit more before accusing anyone.

Murder... Assassin... Elizabeth hoped never hear these words again. These word that dragged her in the bloodiest, evilest of all scandals she ever survived. Shortly after her husband's death, she sold her mansion and moved into another one, nearer to London because she couldn't bear the atrocious sights and pity the surviving villagers had for her. She remembers the letters she first wrote to her husband and then read to him on his death bed, making him crying. She remembers all the attention that had been focus on her and on the Hortons. She remembers Katharine slumped on her son's body in tears, asking him why. She remembers Sherlock Holmes' stern pose, Dr Watson's attention and Lestrade's haste. Then, a series of image defiled before her. Katharine: "I don't care what kind of scandal they think they're avoiding, it's not worth it!" Elizabeth:"I'm sure that nobody wants to end up as the actors of a pretty grim scandal." Emily: "Too late... it's quick, and painless... you won't have anything..." Wil: "Iff'n ya wants me I'll be waiting fer yez atop the north tower." Katharine: "Marcus. Marcus, you have always been the joy of my life, helping me when I need it." Edwin: "What d'ya want, Lizzie? Need to finally spill dirt on anyone? Or unless you need to meet a real man..." Elisabeth: "While you can reproach me many unladylike doings, murder will never be one of them." Markus: "Do with me as you will, but I swear, if my mother comes to any harm, I will move Heaven and Earth to destroy you." Elisabeth: If she chooses so, do yourself a favor and prove me once for all that the "Werewolves" are not cowards by killing me right here." Katharine: "Marcus, why?" Markus: "Ignore the criticism and stand tall." - Elisabeth! Elisabeth! The Brit is startled by Lord Washima call. She had dropped her cards on the table and her hands are pressed into hard fists that her knuckles are turning white. Elisabeth cheecks are now flushed in embarrassement. - Are you ok?, a worried Markus asks Elisabeth is about to lost it and knows it, however, she controls herself muttering what she have on her heart on a shattered tone. - Not... this... again...

Elizabeth looked up to George and smiles at him when he asked if he could join. - Off course you can, now that we're three players, we can start to play. She shuffles the deck and makes both Markus and George cut the deck. Then she passes the five first cards. While Lord Washima is quizically looking over the game, all three gamblers are looking at their hand with care. She then explains the basics of the rules. - Well, the goal of the game is to either having the best hand or being able to bluff your way into winning. Ideally, both. - The best hand? - You'll see as the game will get going. Now, all player chooses to discard any card from it or not. If they do discard, let's say two cards, these two cards will be replaced by two other cards. Then, it's time for the wagers to go on and the one who have the better hand or is the best poker face will win the wager. Lord Washima looks at the Brit with a puzzled look. Elizabeth laughs while she throws away some unwanted cards and distribute the new cards. - Watch and learn. replies cooly the gmabler lady (OOC: Vahktang, I too hope you wont be a wolf as well. )

Elizabeth was delighted that Markus joigned in the fun. She quickly analyzes his behavior and notices that she have a confident player in front of her. If he's as challenging as he is self-confident then a nice challenge is ahead of her. - Welcome! While we are waiting for other players to manifest themselves, allowed me to introduce myself; I am Lady Elizabeth Christie, I'm a proeminent social figure where I'm from but I do enjoy being incognito here. This gentleman besides me is Lord Washima. While the Brit takes a sip out of her glass of fine liquor, Markus decides that it's his turn to introduce himself. - I'm Markus Black. I maybe don't have your social status but I'm pretty sure that I'll be up to your expectations. Elizabeth puts down her glass and smirks. - I hope so, because I'm pretty tired looking for excellent poker players in England.
-
Elizabeth was charmed by Washima's delicate gift and surprised herself to blushing a bit. - Thank you Shin for that esquiste gift. I've never seen paper so skillfully folded. When Shin shows his odd disgust for alcohol drinking she chuckles. - I didn't knew that drinking in public was frowned upon. I must admit that I have a strong taste for alcohol and that I am a pub regular. But I usually drink among classy people. So, do you fancy a game of poker? Washima raises an eyebrow and wonders what kind of other surprises this British Lady helds under her sleeves. - Honestly, I must admit that I don't know anything about this game. Elizabeth smiles and gets up, inviting the Samurai along. - Well, I'll show you if you follow me. I'm sure that I'll find volunteers among these people. While Lord Washima reluctantly follows Elizabeth, the Brit lady walks over an inncopied table that was at the middle of the different groups, while shuffling her cards. She then invite everyone outloud. - ANYONE UP FOR A POKER GAME? After ordering another glass of Cointreau, Elizabeth keeps shuffling her cards with her sharp shuffler's skills, keeping Lord Washima mesmerized.

Aadvark: That's one of a kind rant that is amazingly hilarious. BTW, I've been born and raise as a Roman Catholic, went through all the sacraments, went to Catholic schools until College and my mom is a fervant believer who did study theology.

*hugs Salinye* Sometimes, a good relaxing moment as taking a bath sipping coffee or tea on your own just do miracle.

Although that some of my values are shaped upon what is written in the Bible (ie don't do to the others what you don't want to be done to you), believing into a "God" which I fail to see it's existance is just nonsense to me. I'd rather believe in my own capabilities and into what I can do.

Elizabeth Christie was dressed in an elegant emeralf taffetas gown that was in the highest victorian fashion. Her neck is circled with an intricated chocker made of five rows of delicate beige pearls while he sophisticated bun is also adorn with pearls. All her jewels were creations of her now deceased husband, Archibald Christie. With a glass of Cointreau in hand, she walks over the garden door over a reflective Lord Washima. - Gardens... they do hold their share of mysterious beauty, don't they? murmurs the widow Washima was startled by the woman's presence, although surprise quickly leads its way to charm. The red haired British beauty was striking. The samurai finally answers to the lady. - But gardens can hold so many secrets. I am Lord Washima Shin. - Lady Elizabeth Christie. Nice to meet you. Lord Washima noticed a gorgeous alliance on one of the woman's right hand's finger. - Do you have a spouse and why he is not with you? Elisabeth sighs, looks down from a moment and then, looks straight in the gentleman's eyes - My husband is no more. Illness tooked him away. (OOC; Your turn Vahktang)

Vahktang: I think MTYF clearly suggested that all characters are alive, even though is they had been slained in any previous games.
-
Yup, Tanny is right. I suggested that it'll be put in the "Who framed Roger Rabbit" universe so it'll justify the presence of Pepe and Wile E Coyote. So you can have a masqurade ball in this universe where characters of all acabits are used to coexist side by side.
-
MTYF: Why talking a bit with Tanny about how we could adapt such an ecclectic cast of characters, I've got an idea. Make this one in a "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" setting. That way, those who'll want to pull out their animated character wont have to worry to make it sense and nobody will have to justify such an ecclectic cast.

Carnival Event - Alliteration Exercise
Lady Celes Crusader replied to Ayshela's topic in Cabaret Room Archives
Granted! Grippling gratitude is hardly hastily harvested in anyone's heart today. Therefore, thriving tremendously for a single simple solution is no easily attained today. However, hovering for the how is the key! See the sincere scenery; Armand who amorously show his amore to his dashinly dazzling damzel only to be dishonorably dismissed in disshelvement. Ingrate this intriguing ingornant is? Perhaps. Phew... that was a rough excercise. -
Elisabeth Christie (born Hannah) - Spouse of Archibald Christie, renowed elderly jeweler Noblelady who is well known for her scandals, drinking habits and gambling skills.

*lol* Your Peepi was so cute. Well, Tiff is a fun character indeed but it's hard to pull off these incredible dumb quotes. Ayshela: It's a perfect character. Vahktang: I wonder why Lord Washima died so quickly.
-

Eyremon: Both Edwyn Cooper and Wile E. Coyote are classics.
