  1. Thanks Tanny for posting the second floor pict. I was in an hurry and didn't check everything. So I've fixed the phase two post. I'm back so if Deg's around, he'll be able to send me what I need so we can get this thing running smoothly.
  2. As the boat arrives is drawing closer to its destination, the silhouette of Nigger's Island is cutting itself out of the horizon, clearly showing why it bears its ungraceful name; it looks like a laid down profile of an African male. The sun is slowly setting as the nine guests arrive on Nigger Island. The trip was uneventful, although William C. Horton V heavily contributed to animate the conversations. The boat finally accosts and the Captain helps his passengers to disembark and give them their luggages. The quay was at the very end of the beach, which is spreading all over the eastern side of the island. A board walk, with stair leading down to the beach, is separating the beach from the grassland, where the manor actually stands. The Captain surveys the guest and gives them one last speach before leaving. - I wish that you'll enjoy your week here as I might be unable to come back before then thanks to the stormy ocean at this time of the year. However, if there's any emergency, there's a lighthouse at the top of the Northern cliff. Just lit this up and I'll scramble in here as soon as the weather will allowed me to do. Also, Mr Kant's lovely governess is waiting for you all to join her. With that, I'm taking my bow. Good bye all. The guests nod, although some feel a pinch in their heart as they see the boat sailing away while others were more than eager to meet with Mr. Hunbe Kant. As the guests walk closer to the manor they can only appreciate the Spanish inspired architecture of the two-stories high residence. The outside walls are made out of delicate white marble within which carvings representing African art are adding to it's beauty. The fenestration is marvelously abundant, giving it an lighter appearance to the otherwise imposing construction. At the doorstep, Anna Raven is standing still and greeted the guests as they reach the doorstep themselves. - Greetings everyone!, starts the damsel while subtly looking for Mr. Kant, I am Anna Raven, Mr Kant's governess. Mr. Kant told me that he'll arrive later tonight but he wishes that you all make yourself home and that's exactly what I intend to do. Please, follow me as I lead you all in your respective bedrooms. She first lead those who's room is on the second floor first, then guides those who's room is on the first floor to their respective rooms. The upper floor bedrooms are all adorned with those same marble wall with charmin wood details. All of these rooms have their own bathroom and have a king size ebony wood baldaquin. However, William and Adelaide obtain the most luxurious rooms who have a chimney in their own bedrooms. On the first floors, the rooms of the southern wing shared the luxury of the modest second floor rooms while the three rooms of the northern wings are not only the smallest, but the simpliest room, having confortable but basic furniture. All rooms have their own batrooms as well. Within each rooms, painted in a elegant calligraphy, the same nursery rhyme is written on the wall. Victoria stopped undoing her luggages for a moment and reads them Ten Little Niggers Ten little nigger boys went out to dine; One choked his little self and then there were Nine. Nine little nigger boys sat up very late; One overslept himself and then there were Eight. Eight little nigger boys travelling in Devon; One said he'd stay there and then there were Seven. Seven little nigger boys chopping up sticks; One chopped himself in halves and then there were Six. Six little nigger boys playing with a hive; A bumble bee stung one and then there were Five. Five little nigger boys going in for law; One got into Chancery and then there were Four. Four little nigger boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were Three. Three little nigger boys walking in the Zoo; A big bear hugged one and then there were Two. Two little nigger boys sitting in the sun; One got frizzled up and then there was One. One little nigger boy left all alone; He went out and hanged himself and then there were None. Victoria smiles as she recalls her nurse who tenderly recited that rhyme so many times. When she's finished with her luggage she leaves her room, which happens to be accross of William's and next to Tom's, and walks down the magnificient ebony staircase. Each posts of the ramps are sculpted into african figurines and the red carpet that ardons the steps does have mustard african patterns on it. The experimented woman climbs down the staircase with the class of a politician's wife. She joins the others and then are guided by Anna over the Library and Game Room. Both rooms were adorned with tapestry with african patterns while a luxurious red carpet ornates the room's marble floor. While a bar, poker table, chess table, roulette table, black jack table and a pool table, all made of ebony, are the main attractions in the Game room, the imposing collection of book, a chimney, along with classy leather seats and ebony coffee tables are giving the Library it's charm. - Ladies and gentelemen, I am pleased to annouce you that dinner is ready. Anna leads everyone over the majestic dining room. The white marble walls sorberly decorated with African arts while the gorgeous chimney and the ten seats table attracts their own attention. On the middle of the dining table, ten little porcelain statues showing the niggers of the nursery rhyme are standing orderly. Each guests are assigned at their seat and even Anna had been granted to dine with the guest, which made some of the upper class people raised an eyebrow but Flats and Claudia were delighted for having the opportunity to converse with this charming governess. Here's the configuration of the Manor. North => First floor Second floor (OOC: Time for more fun as your characters will dine. This phase should last until late tomorrow night or on Sunday, depending when I'll be back home tomorrow.) (OOC2: If anyone is offended by the use of the term "nigger" I sincerly apologies but it's part of the novel this game is spawned from. It might not be the most politically correct term in the world, but it suits with the spirit of this game)
  3. Edit: I,ve been told about Deg so everything's fine. Phase2 is posted. So it's dinner time for everyone. I'll be back only on Saturday.
  4. The three latees finally jump in the boat, Flats being welcomed with a glare from Claudia, who told him how worried she was. Now, the ropes are released and the boat sails toward the island OOC: This is not phase two, I'm strechting phase one in order to give the opportunity for the three other people to introduce their characters. So now, everyone's on the boat and chatting with each other, or at least trying too.
  5. Kunax: because I needed all ten people. Well, it seems that IRC hates me because I couldn't find any single server who let me in.
  6. Happy birthday to the both of you.
  7. Tonight (8PM EST), I'll post all floor plans along with the second part of the 72 hours. By the time, I expect someone else's char info asap *pokes Deggy* By now, the boat shall be sailing.
  8. (OOC: I will delay phase two for tonight (8PM EST) as I want more people to post in it.
  9. No problem. I'm sure Mira will make up something for you.
  10. First and foremost, here's a quick reminder of the rules specific to this particular game. • There will be only one Wolf and the Seer. No Baner. • The first play before the first kill will last for 72 hours, devided in three parts. I want to give players more time to roleplay their character as I'll ask them to be a bit more fleshed out than the usual WW char. • Players will determine which other player will be killed by PMing their vote to me. The voting will occur during the last 24 hours of the initial 72 hours of play. Whom will get the most vote will die. • Roles will be attributed after the initial kill and night phase will happen. • Then, the game will proceed with its day phase where this time, the vote is public like in the other Werewolf games, then it'll shift back to night phase until the Wolf is caught or there's only one Villager left. List of players: 1. Dragonqueen (Adelaide Welsh - Rich eccentric heir and artist) 2. Salinye (Claudia VanCluesan-Millionnaire widow socialite) 3. Katzaniel (Victoria Butler - Widow of a politician) 4. Mira (Flats Landon) 5. Ozymandias (William Christopher Horton the fifth - Party goer and British Oil Baron) 6. Vahktang (Tom Baker - politician) 7. Elwen (Lady Melia Darshiva) 8. Tanuchan (Anna Raven - Governess) 9. Cryptomancer (Luke Jesson- Vagrant Jack of all Trades) 10. Degenero Angelus (Jeremy Erikson) Without further ado, here's the beginning of a grueling nightmare. ******************************************************************** A bright sun grace this day of August 24 1936. In England, it was a perfect day for strolling outside, playing polo games, hunting and even better, going over a quaint remote island. Nine people, from all ages and classes, are making their way over a charming Devon quay with trains and cars. All of them have in hand an invitation from Mr. Hunbe Kant, who is rumored to be the newest eccentric hedonist to inhabitate the Nigger's Island. Meanwhile, in the island's manor, Anna Raven is making sure everything is ready for the guest as a soup is heating up and ducks a roasting in a large oven. Captain Jack Grant, a sturdy sailor in his mid 30's, is welcoming all the guests one by one, gently hand-kissing the ladies while warmly shaking the gentlemen's hands. After everyone is seated in his boat, the Captain speaks up to everyone. - Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Captain Jack Grant and it'll be a pleasure to drive you over Nigger's Island. I hope you'll enjoy your stay as well as Mr. Kant's hospitality for the week. The moors are released and the boat is sailing over Nigger's Island. (OOC: Time to roleplay and introduce your characters to each other for the next 24 hours)
  11. I did learned a very harsh lesson in my youth: you cannot control what other people think of you. So I did stop worrying about doing everything to please others and doing things my way and staying myself. Sure, I've made friends and ennemies in the process but, at least, I'm true to myself and that's what it matters the most.
  12. ... a wave hit them hardly and ejects them only to land in Artica, surrounded by penguins. Melvin and Vinnie kept screaming for a while until they realize that they are in a freezing environement. The salesmen dare to open one eye at the time and looks at the birds who keep staring at them. Then, one of the penguins pulls off a book while another exams both men with a lense. - Hum..., starts the penguin who exams the men, do you have any information about this specimens? - Well, answers the other penguin while he looks within the pages of what seems like an encyclopedia about humans, these are not of these pesky explorer type. By their attire, they look like... hum... probably office people or something like these. - Actually, inquires Melvin, we are salesmen. - Melvin, grumbles Vinnie, do you realize that you're talking with penguins? The first penguin, visibily irked by Vinnie's remark, jumps on his chest and stares at the poor guy madly - YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANNOYING YOU, HUMANS ARE! says the furious penguin while punctuating each word with a poke of it's wing on Vinnie's chest. The penguins grabs some ropes and tied both men together before installing them together in a huge catapult, ready to be lauched. Before lauching them, a penguin tells one last word to the salesmen. - Tell your explorer friends to leave us alone! We don't want to be part of any reality show of their. Before Vinnie or Melvin replied, the penguins actionned the mecanism, catapulting the salesmen...
  13. Thank you alot Deg. It'll be a pleasure to add you in. Send me the information as soon as possible so I could start the game as planned on tomorrow 4PM EST (That's New-York's time).
  14. Welcome Cryptomancer. I'll help you out whenever it's needed. Since each phases will be at least a minimum of 48 hours, you wont have problems to find any opportynity to post. Now we only need one more participant.
  15. Hi everyone! I'll postpone the beginning of the game on Wednesday August 25 for the following reasons: 1) I still need two more players (as I'm definatly counting Tanny in) 2) Some players still havent sent me their backgrounds 3) RL will keep me away from the net for the whole week-end. In the meantime, don't hesitate to sent me PM if you need help with your background and if you have yours ready.
  16. Interesting read from a very well documented text.
  17. Another fellow Werewolf player joins in the fun - Happy birthday Jammeez. It is fun to roleplay with you since you come with interesting roles. Hope you'll be able to join the fun soon.
  18. Well, since Tanny is VERY interested to join, I'll be more than happy to add her in the pool of players. Katz: Oh I see, it'll be interesting.
  19. Annael: You go through Boston and Maine? Sounds fun!
  20. Sweet! I can't wait to listen to music in which I'll attempt to understand more than 1/4 of what they are saying! :woot:
  21. Tanny: Check your PM Mira and Salinye: Yup. Mira's character fits the lower class,
  22. Well, I didn't vote in the first round because I simply had no idea and I wasn't confortable voting against Amanda nor Wile E Coyote. I thend voted Deg out since his character behavior was similar to the Oregon's trail game where this char was also a Werewolf. Then I followed Jaqui and voted against Salinye as I lacked of any other suspect.
  23. *Huggles MTYF* Anyhow, it was fun to be partners in crime. Take care and I hope that things will get for the better in real life.
  24. For those who already send me their characters in PM, it's not too late to change it. If you feel that your character is a tadbit similar to someone else's, it's not to late to change. Also... I'd really want character from middle and lower classe as upper class is widly represented.
