I like well-written poems that tell a story or scenario. This was interesting reading.

I'm with ya Hon'. I'm doing 50+ hour days lately, with 4-6 hours of sleep between. I used to shrug these off when I was younger, but I feel age making a difference. A time-lag in thinking and movements. Heh, Let's let go of the world and get some sleep. Folds her in his arms to protect her from the world, like cupping hands around a candle to protect it's bright light from the night breezes.

Fear is the prison we use to hold ourselves in. Break free and dare the unknown. On the first poem - that wonderful feeling is lust, a chemical thing. Enjoy the feeling to the depths of it, but realize it *is* chemical - it doesn't have morality, and can't make decisions. *hugs*

Ouch. It's a level of discernment I think. When you are starving, anything bitter seems edible, and something sweet can be too much. What I mean by that is, when you are so loving, as you are, and need to be loved, as you do, you'll more likely believe the lies that you want to hear. Real Friends don't backstab. I've had Friends, and I have Friends, and I can tell you, that they can be a haven of love and understanding even when you yourself are screwed up. They tell you the truth -no matter how much it hurts. The thing is, not to get mad at those who give you the harsh truth, but to enlarge yourself enough to accept it. Love you Daughter mine, online. -P

His heart beats with fears. If he steps on a crack, he'll break a back. If he misses a pole bad times will roll. With every ritual he wrests meaning and control on a world that is moving too quickly and chaotic. His Head gibbers at Heart, decrying all this nonsense, but in his heart he knows the secret truths that children know... Passing by, dodging with outraged cry, the beauty with the black eyes and silvery blond hair glares at the looney in the way. He's forgotten in a moment, for her inner world is as dark today as the outworld sky kisses the sun good morning. In her thoughts, one reality rules...

Well, one of the big reasons I bumped this was because I remember what it was like to be the new guy... The little reason (which is big in my heart) is that I love it when the Littlest Demonette posts...

Moved to Assembly Room for content match. (And I'd still love to see another point of view of this battle...)

Heh, Valdar has the jump on everyone because of his time zone - My birthday (which I was hoping would slip by unnoticed), is October 2nd.

As a suggestions, maybe an Elder should make this a help file in The Walls of the Pen

A bump - The idea that Nyyark had here is even more appropriate now, as we attract Everquest players, and people who've never heard of the Archmage game.

Add the ads with scads of bad media hypes, you know the types, the types that hypes the impossibly perfect scantily clad fad bodies of the play day while you stay at work and perc the second pot of java beans while hyperlinking your web site for the site of the URLy birds who kiddy script the worms in scabrous patches looking for backdoor latches.

Meep. Umm. I could see this. And you'd better have let out all *THOSE* feelings. I'm not gonna lose my tea-partner! Hugs and holds on no matter what. When you feel unloved - just look out a bit further. Koan: what is virtual but real?

Whether anyone else has missed you, I have. Welcome back. Hugs

Nice. sometimes, in my experience, love gives acceptance that divides asunder permanent hearts and transient knowledge, affirming one while examining the other. Fear, love's opposite, causes rigidity and refusal.

that's beautiful. Sleeping childrens can melt any heart open to love.

Cheers the woman, boos the Prince.

Sometimes after the marriage, they *don't* live happily ever after so easily. Takes effort, appreciation, and commitment on *both* parts. This could easily be a genderless piece, which makes it's simplicity as simple as a rapier's point. Nicely written.

Cheers Congratulations big guy. Your life will never be the same, internally or externally. I expect to see some poetry inspired by this new Muse...
