You're getting better. And mechanically, there are less misspellings, which make it so much easier to read and appreciate.

*more hugs!*

I'm a-likin' these... The cemetary everyone is dying to get into. Beaver attacks man's log.
-
Big happy hugs I remember you. And to me, you are welcome and precious whether you bring Brute or not, just for your own sake.

I'm a shy social butterfly. Because I'm shy, I present a social butterfly face to the world. The more nervous I am, the more maniacally social I become. There are very very few people with whom I can just be quiet without being depressed. Depends. If you act shy, people will seek you out, both as a good listener and wondering what lies in side. If you are shy but act loud, then they look at the mask and don't bother to find out if there is something beneath it.So I suppose it depends on the shy person. Do they respond when sought out, are they able to focus outside themself? Or do they cover up, trapped inside their mind by the waves of feelings and insecurities. Again, it depends. When flittering, are they only seeking reflections of themself, or are they interested in others? Shy or social, selfishness for any reason is unattractive, and a genuine interest in others is attractive. I'm a social butterfly who married a socially shy person. It is a guarantee that if I had a good time, she didn't and the reverse is also true. The fact that we love each other makes this more painful, because the dichotomy in our social behavior goes right to the core of our beings, which makes compromise difficult.

Thank you. It resonates in some private corners of my own.

With an impish grin, Peredhil leans toward Mynx and quietly remarks, "CheerMynx has a lovely tail-end too," and then returns to scoring the contestants.

Elrohir glides over the sand leaving no prints. Mounting the stage, he smiles at the crowd. "Dad wanted me to let you all know that one of us is up for bid. Any one of us. So if you bid, you bid on the family and the bodyguards, and when you win, you can pick your date. Note that it is only *one* of us!" He blinks as a thought hits him. "When you send in your vote, just write 'Peredhil' to make it easier on the Judges. You can pick who you would like to see when you've won." With a bow, he lithely glides away.

I did find parts amusing, but wading through the spelling errors was difficult.

Happy Birthday Huntress!!!

Peredhil absent-mindedly renews the Area-Healing he'd put into effect when Wyvern had first been announced. He'd hoped it unnecessary, but with Wyvern he'd learned not to take chances. Wyvern almost *always* needed healing, and one never knew where the Elder would end up. As it had turned out, the background healing spell had proven useful continually since. Singes cooled, cuts closed, and other minor ailments vanished with unnatural speed. One of the nicest features was pretty much unnoticed. No one itched for the duration of the show thus far. He'd looked on with some concern when Finx had appeared, but the lion seemed well-cared for and, on hearing the communications between Apaltra and her friend, he relaxed completely.

Peredhil set up the Birthday Room with reminders of Lothlorien and Imladris for Arwen on the one hand, and streaming banners of grey and orange for the Arawn on the other. The united theme was balanced and breathtaking, and unmistakably HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Without missing a beat or spending energy on thought , Peredhil healed Wyvern. It happened so often, it was a habit. Reaching out over the still smoking Almost Dragon, he warmed hands chilled by the thrown water. Frowning slightly, he wandered away tabulating scores in his head.

Wow, I'm glad you were smart enough to go in. You could've died! Please take care of yourself. The Pen can wait, but you are the only you in the universe. gentle hugs

Peredhil ducks his head in embarassment. At hearing the words, "thunder, thunder", he'd automatically sounded off with "Thundercats... HO!" The pyrotechnics helped to cover his mistake, for which he was devoutly grateful.

Oh my. I feel this one. So many have gone, while some have just grown away. Short but just right.

Peredhil handed his notes to Mynx and ducked out through the small door set behind the Judges' area. The place he stepped into wasn't the Hallway behind the chambers, but Somewhere Else. Thanking the Door politely, he arranged to return before the next round of judging and set off to deal responsibly with his other duties.

Peredhil hugs the Good Doctor. It's okay, I'm still one of your biggest fans.

Peredhil absently cast a minor healing on the Sharpein on the left. The poor fellow's boot had worn a blister onto his foot. Noting the empty stage for the moment, he stood and stretched, then carefully aligned the creases of his wet-charcoal-gray raw-silk suit before reseating himself. Due to the floodlights, he wore his wrap-around Gargoyle sunglasses. He'd been hard-pressed not to laugh as Stephen had "translated" for Tanuchan. Since he'd made a Polite point of learning Wolf when Canid arrived, he'd followed the original as well as the translation. It had been a while since he'd seen Vegetables moving and talking. A sorrow flashed across his hidden eyes as he recollected what had happened to the Patch Gang when Elladan had rescued him. He hadn't been able to eat Broccoli since. And to think that the Veggi-Tales world had initially seemed so wholesome. There'd been some rotten to the the core. Apaltra had captured his interest with her weapons and descriptions, although he thought Elrohir would've appreciated the display much more. Sweetcherrie was always a welcome sight, and he was pleased to make the acquaintence of Anna and Patham. He made a point of reserving judgment on the Music Evangelist, as he'd struck the hidden chords of memory. Saraman had had much the same demeanor.

Excellent Tattered, I think this is one of your best. Really good job on the feedback Parm', you left me with nothing so say except that I love her and believe in her always.

This was good enough and more. *hugs* I have family that happens to have different parents, so I really feel this.

Snape is so OBVIOUSLY bad - just as Fleur was so OBVIOUSLY shallow. Isn't it a theme, that people aren't simple stereotypes and appearances are always deceiving?

Personally, I find the repetition of the parallels between Riddle, Snape, and Harry being continually drawn to be of significance. Riddle being "lord", Snape being the self-styled "prince" and both of them being half-bloods (1/2 being Muggle), the same as Harry. It is worthy of note that half-blood doesn't mean both parents aren't magical. Notice also that all three have similar attitudes and reactions to things, being very quick to anger, judgement, and pride. The difference in Harry may be considered due to the incredible influence of Dumbledore's constant push toward empathy and love. Personally, I see Snape as being incredibly brave, and on the side of right. I think it no mistake that the Potion book was found in Snape's room and given to Harry - and that it not only helped Harry in his weakest Auror subject, but also gave him very necessary side knowledge. A way of Snape helping Harry without being obvious to anyone at all, and thus avoid having to lie in the presence of Riddle. Snape's "accidental" sharing of his humiliations at the hands of Harry's father is another thing that has helped Harry to develop empathy and compassion, even if Harry is still too stupid to apply it to his enemies. That he spurns Ginny, a source of love, is a statement to me that he still doesn't understand what Dumbledore had tried throughout the course, even unto his death, to teach Harry. Notice that Dumbledore's hand is evident even after death- the intelligence of Dumbledore is present in Hermy. The passion and dedication in Harry. And Ron is a constant reminder of family, love, concern, dedication, and "parent", to stiffen his will yet keep him soft and flexible. Predictions: Wormtail and Malfoy with both play parts in betraying Riddle. When you look at it, Dumbledore planted a seed with Malfoy, and saved him from soul-tearing murder. Snape knows the danger of murder - and took it on himself to kill Dumbledore so that Malfoy didn't. Just random brainstorming.
