  1. Yeesh. Where are those old threads? I thought 'Mount Tyrant' and 'Gyrfalcon the Mad' were both archived - but I can't find them.
  2. Heh - KISS economics (Keep it ssizzling! )
  3. This is something I recently found which I had posted at the AM board way back in 'the day'. Millions of blinking eyes filling cyberspace like stars, the Watchers spy. Always looking, watching, waiting for the perfect moment to make their presence known, through endless hours of fearful sentiment. Oh, they watch it all, and without a hint of shame, they point with glee and think "See!" When heartfelt Posters get flamed. They won't make that mistake. "that could have been me going down," they think with a frown "Losing what the Watchers take." And some do pay heed to the Watchers, but none more so than the Watchers themselves, sitting behind their shadows on high, watching, watching, watching all of cyber life go by.
  4. Superglue. Hehehe...
  5. "Ah yes," says Zool, "Cups does carry tremendous meaning of late - in both aspects. I thank you." As Zool bowed low within his portrait Grimmael threw the tarp back over him, that he could be removed without damage. With a squawk the rubber chicken ran under the cloth and disappeared just before the manservant hoisted the painting up, and they gratefully withdrew.
  6. Grimmael comes in carrying a huge bundle. Plunking it down in front of the table he whips off the cover to reveal the full standing portrait of Zool - on break from the kissing booth. "I am afraid I am unable to shuffle the cards as you request, but my familiar the rubber chicken can assist, if need be." Grimmael obligingly puts 5 Geld in the silver cup.
  7. After watching all of this Zool finally stirs, saying, "I'd give 50 Geld to see Death of Rats and Mynx kiss and make up, hehehe." Death of Rats and Mynx both turn to glare at the Ancient portrait, causing him to quickly drop the subject.
  8. Grimmael limps up, a 5 Geld coin in his hand. Ayshela smiled brightly. "Hi Grimmael - you've come to throw some balls?" Grimmael's usually grim face was a little more serious than usual, and a little confused to boot. "Actually, Zool told me to take this and, well..." Without another word Grimmael stood at the counter and flipped the coin all the way... into the dunk tank, where it landed with a plunk - quickly followed by the splash of Wyvern jumping in after it. Picturesque laughter floated in from the great hall...
  9. "Whew! That was close."
  10. Zool looks nervously and somewhat enviously out from his portrait, a red rose propped up in the lower left corner of his frame. "KISS t-shirts, disappearing coins, 15g cuddles... Are you sure you wouldn't want to see chicken juggling?" "What would the chickens say?" replied Salinye. "Oh... yeah, welll..." Zool dropped it again, and braced for some more 'business'.
  11. "Well," thought Zool, leaning over and shaking the saliva out of his ears, "That certainly... went!" Yeesh - the things one does for entertainment.
  12. Looking around the pie stuck to his painting, eyebrows raised, Zool states slowly and clearly, "There has to be a better way." He begins thinking. Perhaps he could charge for guesses to the contents of his magic handbag... Or, maybe he could have people pay 5 geld to suggest his new sig... or maybe they would pay to see him mime!" Zool was excited at that prospect, but after thinking about it began to be a bit skeptical. In any case, he could always fall back on his extraordinary skill as a chicken juggler, juggler of chickens. Come to think of it, that didn't go over so well last time either. He blushed a bit, thinking of Yuki's kiss - that wasn't so bad, really... ( ) Perhaps he would wait for the next customer and see how it went.
  13. If that's the whole song, where does he say, "Are you going to Scarborough Fair?"?
  14. My very own Haiku! Sweet!
  15. "It IS true, I swear!" pleads Zool... Good one Yui! Thanks again, everyone.
  16. ROFL Mighty J! (Yeah, YFA Master P )
  17. Camera zooms in on the quiet desperation of a trickling hourglass. A booming patrician voice whispers, "Like sands through an hourglass, such are the days of our Zool." *Cue violins* "Merry Zool... Merry Zool.." err, scratch that - wrong soap! (A horrendous record scrathing noise crashes through the somber mood) The curtain opens to show the portrait of Zool. He looks exactly like he always does except for a little gray peppered on his Ultra-Elvis pompadour, and the super-stylish goatee (cut from a magazine) taped to his chin, and a look of second-childhoodish annoyance on his face. And a party hat. And a noisemaker. And he was holding a large pink Birthday cake. "Noooooooooooooooooooo! Not again! It seems every year on the same day I get older!" "But it's your birthday Zool!" said a sexy female voice from off-screen. "Wha...! Guess I'll have to get that changed." "You can't change your birthday silly!" "Of course I can - I'm just a picture, it's all a matter of perspective." Zool ducks as a pie goes flying into his painting where his face was - and continues flying into the background, finally plopping against the castle wall in the background. "Yikes!" thought Zool. "Enchanted pies - I had better be careful!" "Uh... The acronym of Days of our Lives is DooL. Isn't that cool?" "But 'Days of our Zool' is DooZ. What does that mean?" answered the off-screen sexy female voice with a question. "Frankly Starlet, I don't give a D. Get it - Don't give a..." Zool ducked again, but this time the pie wielding antagonist had aimed low, catching Zool square in the face as he bent down. Face full of meringue, he slowly straightened. The female voice giggled. "Very funny. C'mon dear, why don't you come on out share this with me?" he asked the off-screen sexy female voice. "Okay," oozed the voice - and out stepped an enormous and bewarted troll. "I'm so happy you asked!" Zool froze, even his meringue drooping. "Yeesh. I hang out here for this?" He didn't even see the next pie coming. OOC: Thanks everybody! What a wonderful Birthday surprise to have you all wish me a happy birthday!
  18. "Gah! It's the Locus! Should have known. *Zool wanders into the background of his painting, muttering incomprehensibly further to himself*
  19. D'oh! Looks like I hold the record now Ayshela.
  20. Does that mean I do one? MuaHahahahaha! While prolly not so well known this is from a very well known band. Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream, It is not dying, it is not dying. Lay down al thoughts, surrender to the void, It is shining, it is shining. Yet you may see the meaning of within It is being, it is being. Love is all and love is everyone It is knowing, it is knowing. And ignorance and hate mourn the dead It is believing, it is believing. But listen to the color of your dreams It is not leaving, it is not leaving. So play the game "Existence" to the end Of the beginning, of the beginning
  21. Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly. I admit though I had to play it to make sure.
  22. You are right! How about that ending?
